It’s really a “to each their own” scenario, there is no right or wrong, just what’s right for you.

I doubt it. These cars are pretty well built. As someone who has bought many things knowing the pitfalls and risks (boats, cars, etc), these feel relatively risk free from a reliability standpoint.

Market peak was about 2 years ago...but prices seem pretty stable at around 5-10% over MSRP.
I don't believe we'll see any big swings. With production ended and ICE cars being government mandated out of existence suspect these cars will always do well.

I think like anything its super dependent on location. I personally have not seen any Spyder or GT4 for under MSRP no matter the mileage but to be fair i also have not looked very hard.

Even "high mileage" cars would have about 35k miles on them and are still going close to MSRP from what I have seen ~$10k below MSRP or 10% depreciation in 7 years or $1,200 a year which strong and not crashing any time soon.

Seriously doubt there will be much depreciation - no more GT4/Spyders being made and no one will want to replace them with 718 EVs. If they get rid of the GTS 4.0 after 2024, that will be the last of the flat 6 mid-engined Porsches, and prices will remain strong. Also 981s aren't exactly super high mileage at 30+k, just not garage queens either.

While i dont doubt that there will be some examples of cars selling for under, i mean BAT is a good indication of where private sales sit vs dealership sales, i do think that as we get closer to the end of the Porsche mid-engine ICE cars, prices will just go up. Now i dont expect them to shoot upwards or anything, but if anything i see the 4.0s get treated similar to what the S2000 was for a long time. Some random unicorns going for extravagant amounts, with the rest holding steady at a good value.
