wooooow i love that color. If i had 30k more to spend i'd probably jump on this instead of waiting for my Boxster to be built.
They should have took some pictures in the sun, OGM is a special color for sure. If it helps narrow that 30k gap, the car already has full PPF + ceramic, so it's only like 23k more .

Haha true. Unfortunately still out of my budget, but a beauty none the less
One would think the Doug Demuro, as a previous Porsche employee who was involved in importing GT cars, would know that the 718 Spyder is not a "Boxster variant" as he states in his take on the car. That side, a 4 year old (soon to be 5 as the '25s roll out this summer) car selling for near MSRP plus fees is pretty good IMO.

I’d say the 718 Spyder is indeed a Boxster variant, just like the GT4 is a Cayman variant and the GT3 is a 911 variant. I guess I still consider my 718 to be a Boxster 😀

Yeah, I get that... what I'm trying to say is that it is not a "718 Boxster Spyder", just like it is not a 718 Cayman GT4 or a 911 GT3. Although based on those platforms, the GT cars are more than an upper level.
Edited to say i stand corrected... the GT4 and GT3 were and are named "Cayman GT4" and "911 GT3, respectively. But, the 718 Spyder lost the term "Boxster" in its name to differentiate it as a GT car, whereas it's predecessor was indeed named the "Boxster Spyder" and was not a GT car, but a higher trim level.
