I and I am sure others would like to know if for the 718 4.0l to 4.5l rebuild if there exists the option from the engine builder to have these engines built/configured/mapped to run on 91 or 93 octane pump gas without the need for any octane boost?
I think that as this was discussed and offered early on in the thread it would be of interest to those considering this path to hear directly from Rick @DeMan Motorsport if this is still an option.

Not saying it's a bad thing, less knock is never bad—and what you're doing makes sense if you're looking for an easy way of figuring out measurements, e.g. 1/4 a bottle of Boostane per full tank, 1/8 per half tank, etc.—but just that you could be getting more bang for your buck, i.e. nearly 6 full tank fills per bottle @ 5.5oz vs. the 4 you're getting right now doing 8oz per full tank.
Here's a link to the calculator that @Luca Paindelli put together that I took the above screenshots from: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing
I found it much better than the Boostane app, and easier than trying to do the math on the fly using their mixing chart.

With 8oz of additive @ 93 R+M/2 per 16.9 gal. tank (assuming a full fill-up), you're ending up somewhere just north of 99 octane:

He did mention the hassle of the octane boost, it would be nice to know if Rick is still offering the 4.5l build in 91 and 93 octane versions?

Matt's observations are exactly what I'd expect. The car is an absolute monster, especially compared to a stock one. It easily feels more accelerative and explosive than any GT3 I've ever driven or owned. The octane booster thing doesn't bother me in the slightest, personally. The car is not my daily driver and, if anything, adding the "jungle juice" gives it a little sense of occasion for me. Listening to all of Matt's recent discussion about his car makes me want to ship mine to SoCal and enjoy it now, rather than waiting for the longggggggg Midwest winter to pass .
As a side note, I find Rick's motor so addictive that I've already discussed another project with him for 2023 *MANIACAL LAUGHTER*

He just likes to be comfortable. That, and his past forays into suspension changes left him wanting to go back to stock many times.
