I am sure the headlights are still under warranty. (if you mean factory)

The gear swap is definitely under consideration, for when my factory warranty expires. (if still offered)

Does the ECU know that the transmission has been out / unmated from the engine?

Ha, no, I mean any warranty that @Rick DeMan may offer on his work. Would it transfer to a new owner?

Despite dozens having been built by now it seems nobody has ever done a dragy 60-130 mph or 100-200 km/h run ever in either a 981 or 982, at least not on Rennlist.

Cannot be that good then. Always tell tale signs when no one posts data.

I'm sure it's very very good. It just seems to be bought by people who aren't particularly interested in recording and sharing data for whatever reason. Very little footage of them on track as well but at least there is some of that.

I love data, but from my end I just never had the time / wherewithal / geography for it. I think I literally told someone in another thread if they bought me a Dragy and could point me to a spot in the tristate area where I could get in a decent run with minimal police presence I’d be happy to get data. Surprisingly they didn’t take me up on it 🤷🏻‍♂️

There’s a handful of owners that track, but from what I’ve seen they aren’t tracking hard and aren't looking to break any records (as that’s usually when you tend to break other things). Anyone that’s owned or driven one of these knows that they’re extremely fast and something special; the numbers are what might get you into a purchase, but if you’ve already bought it, drive it, and you know it’s **** hot, you no longer need the figures as justification.

Edit: re: track footage. I post this stuff all over the place & no one ever seems to care (probably because I'm a middling track driver that's just trying to make progress & isn't out there trying to look like Ayrton Senna; plus, everyone's a Monday morning motorsports commentator / critic when it comes to track footage, and honestly I don't have the time or patience for it), but since you asked here you go!

There is no warranty expressed or implied. It is at your own risk. Pay to play.

I don't believe that is a valid conclusion, given the limited number of "Draggy Times" posted on Rennlist "as a whole". Rennlist doesn't appear to be that kind of crowd.

What an asinine conclusion lmao. Don't have dragy numbers, but here is some data for you...the car put a bus on my PDK 991.2 GT3 without breaking a sweat.

Yup. Never bothered getting Dragy numbers on any of my cars, and probably never will. They just don't interest me. How the car feels (and how much I enjoy it) is the only thing that matters.

Nice videos! I'd love to see your car at a track event this year! Is your car stored for the winter?
