On a related topic, does anyone have any insight on how these DeMan builds are doing on the secondary market? Are they holding value like the stock vehicles or no? My prior experience with other cars is that unless you have a very specific buyer, modifying a car to any major degree decreases resale value, sometimes significantly.

Seems to be about 40 to 50% of the build cost get returned and in resell. Assume around 50k for a build

Ooof. I know that pain...at least partly. Rado motors don't cost as much as GTs...but had to do mine 2x. Third time's a charm? I'd had said, "It didn't have to end this way...they should have got Carsheild...", but apparently a bunch of people did, but then had to file a class action law suit because Carsheild wasn't working for them.

Variocam failure in both? Is this to do with the Variocam bolts shearing?
How many kms, mainly track work?
