Another completed DeMan 4.5L 718 - Impression/review!
#256
So essentially a coilover system with PASM delete and most bits updated. What alignment do you have? Approx how much did this cost from Joey? I found him to be very good and extremely expensive. But if you go the whole Deman 4.5L, regear and suspension cost really isnt an object. The reason I ask is that at some point I may do coilovers and then Deman in that order. I have a PDK GT4 so the gear thing isnt such a big deal to me.

11,000 miles on a 981 4.5L—zero problems. Got a 718 GT4 in May and the first order of business (among other things) was to drop the gearbox and swap in short ratios. Do it and never look back.

Ended up doing about 1500 miles. Car has just about 2500 miles total on it now. Hope to do many more next season!

Hahah you know this is partly because of my OCD and partly because of my work schedule. Still, gives me something to look forward to when we thaw out
Yes, break in is around 500 miles per Rick. To be fair, I do rotate with other cars. Also spend a lot of time at the track with a different car as well.

can we do a group buy?
I love my spyder and I'd also love a GT3 but I'd hate to lose the open top. What's the lead time to get something like this done? Winter is coming so I can kind of live without it in the NE

@JAhmed just curious since you didn’t mention… which dampers did you get? I think Joey likes KW… so that would make it like the Manthey package. I’ve got MCS 2way w/remotes and they are fantastic! I’ve long dreamed of the 4.5L but will probably just continue with bolt ons so the car can be returned to stock. It’s plenty fast for me at this point! Thanks
