GT4 RS Allocation Thread
#841
Update: I sent my first email in 2 months to my contact at the Sonderwünsch department at the factory in Germany wishing them good luck in this stressful situation with parts not being available and asking politely about any paste on my May PTS build and got a reply that said my car was due for production in June, a month postponed according to the original slot I received for May. They also said things are changing from week to week at production planning. So hopefully this can ease everyone’s nerves and lower som shoulders around this forum. It is what it is. Nobody’s dealer has got a clue to whenever your car is coming. Just relax and have a beer, or a coke.
Also I wrote to Manthey about any exciting stuff for the GT4RS? They replied working on a brake upgrade kit for both steelies and ceramics comprising of braided brake lines, pads and brake fluid. They also work on upgraded aero mods and a 4-way adjustable suspension kit. No delivery date as of yet, but expect Q3/Q4 2022. Exciting days!

PAG may not be shutting down in August...

When was you PTS originally accepted? I have PTS for one of those months as well, wonder if it will be delayed? Thanks

July.....keep in mind that I go through Porsche Latin America not PCNA, so maybe they couldn't fit my build on the first 2 months as other markets get priority.

Same as for me then, we both got bumped back for 1 month. Don’t be surprised if we get bumped further back. It only makes our cars more rare in the end as number of cars total production will be reduced.

Seems like most of the allocations are outside the US for now?

Dealer just called me......August will be first month of production for 2023, and PTS is a GO on that month. Crossing fingers it doesn't get further delayed as would prefer to received it before December.
Apparently PAG is trying to catch up by having production in August.

They probably know or have an idea of build slots but can't be tied to configurations...just yet.

Just wondering if it was just my local dealers waiting or if it's nationwide. We didn't see any (second round allocations) in the system last we checked on Friday

Exactly. We know the number and the months of the allocations, but just waiting for them to be in the system so they can assign them to people.

Mentioned earlier in this thread, but GM of my dealer thinks they may not be released until production for next MY begins. Not verified that's the case, it's just a possibility.

Fingers crossed that early Canadian cars arrive before the Sept 1st luxury tax kicks in. That will be an extra $25k hit on a high option PTS car.
