When every single Porsche is "rare" and "Special", which ones really are? Porsche doesn't care, they'll pump out more of these than you could ever imagine. The latest gt4rs allocation at my local dealer was 7, there's a lot more to come.
Any 964 turbo/Any 993/996 gt2/ gt3/996gt3rs/997.1gt3/997.1gt3rs/997.2gt2/997.2gt3/997.2gt3rs/997.2gt3rs4.0/997.2gt2rs/997.2 speedster/991.1gt3rs/991.2gt2rs/991.2gt3/991.1R/991.2gt3rs/991.2speedster/992gt3/gt4rs
I mean everyone acts like these are collectible...and i've had a bunch of them, they aren't. Millennials (I'm one of them) will not keep this market going in another 20 years, and Porsche knows that these fossil burners are all but over. These cars are the equivalent of mecum auction of 60's muscle cars from 20 years ago. Porsche doesn't care about keeping anything rare, they are not in the business to make collectibles, they'll pump as many of these out as they can, just watch.

Welcome to V170 purgatory. All of us with originally early June productions of Caymans/Boxsters have gone or are going to TBD on dates and delivery date pending it seems. Two friends had theirs switch to that this week while mine switched back on 3/3. This isn't just an RS thing but just seems to be 718 June production overall, and there are no answers as to why since this was set by PAG. My guess, and only a guess, is that existing production has now pushed back into June so far that we're now beyond the currently known production event horizon and our new dates are just too far out for them to commit to anything. Remember that Germany slows to a crawl for August break as well.

It's crazy how people get offended that a dealership got 7 lol...What are you worried about?
BH Porsche, Their first round of GT3 I remember they got 20...so 7 really isn't much. No clue on which allocation set this was for them, It was the one from a couple months ago...Maybe Jan. They just got a March batch I know of a gt4 and a few Gts's they got, I would assume they got more RS if they got a normal GT4, but I don't know...I only asked about those 2 models.

I think it is in their interest to act like they only have 1 or 2. How else do you get people to pay those massive ADM's?

7 in the first batch is a lot, but it may have been because there are a lot of 918 VIPs there and PCNA was taking care of them first.

Fantastic point. This would make total sense and they don't count as official dealer allocations.
