All first round US allocations are essentially on build hold as of a few days ago. Parts not available.

I don't know if that applies to the early VIP allocations.

At this point it is still "proposed" so fingers crossed it won't go through!

It depends on how they calculate it, if it is separate from the other taxes even for a $250K car it 'only' reaches $20k... not saying it is not possible, but that will take one hellava spec!

There's some light at the end of the tunnel. When I attended my dealer today and asked about an allocation, they only kicked me in the nuts 10 times.

Just got the call from the dealer in Shanghai. June Build. Unfortunately no PTS and no PCCB. So here is your average Arctic Grey build. The good news is the Chinese market has the titanium roll cage that PCNA doesn't offer.

Fortunately nothing is ordinary about the GT4RS. How is the GT4RS priced in China, in USD? Base? WP? Mag? PCCB?

in Europe we also get the titanium roll cage. Fingers crossed they still have the allotted PCCB, Mag and PTS for my June build.

Nothing is for sure.. but according to my conversations recently.. Porsche focused on TEMPORARY factory delays from wiring harness issues.. getting the 1000 customers that lost their cars on the Felicity replaced IMMEDIATELY..
and then after that takes about 30 days plus.. anticipate rolling into announcing ALL allocations for GT4RS and GT3 for MY 23.. fingers crossed that this is true..

I wonder what percentage of those Felicity Ace replacement cars have already been produced.

Head on over to the GT3 forum…most reporting fall deliveries from FA sinking.

You can’t replace “immediately” without yanking sold allocations and there has been no report of that.

Agreed, I think the FA people are getting the "second wave" of builds after the near term ones, to allow Porsche the chance to organize the appropriate optional parts / features. To try to reallocate all the material already tied to specific near-term car builds would be a nightmare.

Congratulations on your allocation as well! Where in Europe did you get your allocation?
Currently 1 dollar can be exchanged for 6.35 RMB.
The base is 1.57 million RMB or 247k USD
The Weissach with titanium roll cage is 190k RMB or 30k USD
The mag wheels costs 183k RMB or 29k USD
PCCB is another 90k RMB or 14k USD
My build in total costs 2.11 million RMB or 330k USD before any ADM.
And there is a total of 24% of tax for ultra luxury vehicles with big displacement engines. Ultimately, the car will cost me ~400k USD equivalent in China.

It makes financial sense because 1), I managed to secure the 4rs at MSRP, 2) the cost in the US with ADM (200k build car with 100 to 150k ADM they are asking) is almost as expensive as acquiring the car in China, 3) the GT4 RS is a much more rare car in the Chinese market because the lack of 992 GT3.
