GT4 RS Allocation Thread

I love the MSRP dealers but for first/second time customers like me, getting an allocation from msrp dealer seems like a pipe dream. Those are for local customers who have been buying cars for decades, so I searched around different dealers and found a dealer with a reasonable adm. ADM sucks but if you want to order a new desirable car with high demand, msrp only policy will never let you buy that car imo. Ferrari is a good example

not in Canada we don’t. In my opinion it’s criminal that they are doing this. Would rather the $$ go directly to Porsche for more R&D but instead the stealers take it

#2-3 usually add up to a 20-40k+ ADM atleast.

In contrast, the other dealer local to me just play games and even though they are a MSRP dealer lowball the trade by 20% on anything in high demand, so it's effectively an ADM dealer.

Yes. They lowball trades on anything decent and love playing games. Stopped doing business with them a couple years ago. They also have the worst/inflated prices on used inventory. Have no interest in negotiating. Very pompous SA's, in my experience.

My local dealer is a MSRP dealer. I started doing business with them in 2017. I purchased 6 cars from them (always traded them back) three new and three preowned. One GT car. I am a nobody more or less. But persistence and timing scored me a 4RS at MSRP. They have always been fair on my trades as well.

I got lucky with my GT4. Scored PTS allocation with just 4-5 months wait at msrp back in 2021. But for 4rs had no luck for a while but finally got an allocation recently. So for people like me who only want to cherry-pick certain models, ADM dealers work sometimes. I had my name down at local msrp dealer who I bought multiple non porsche cars from for 2 years and didn’t get any response back. Reaching out to other dealers, I was able to find one within 2 days, so I’m happy haha

The history I have had with them is 4 P car purchases, including another GT4 and a GT3 trade in. I also use them for service for all the cars. They have been fair on their prices and were close to Indy prices (until the recent hourly rate increase).
If I had to do it again, I would still pay an ADM for this car. Very intrigued in the idea of leasing another car as an ADM. Definitely would have done that and just got the wife a Taycan . Hope that helps.

From my understanding, the ADM that people have actually paid has been 35K to 100K since these have been produced. Someone correct me if I am wrong? I sat on this scale as well with my purchase and also PPF ceramic etc.

I placed my order in July 2022 and received the car in June 2023 after being on the list from 2020, yes that was before the car was announced. I was on the list for a GT4 and switched based solely off of the rumors 🤷♂️
Extensive history with the dealership ship buying and selling cars for the last nine years, one other GT car.
ADM was $25k, plus a requirement to purchase $5k in exclusive options, I would do it again 🤪

Very cool. Congrats ! I think servicing other P cars with them (because I am a nut) that I bought elsewhere helps bc they still make a ton anyway…
Moral of the story is everyone, get one of these! I’m working on keeping it!
