Wished GA dealers would relax the ADM. Would love to build a relationship in my home state. I've always purchased in SC since that's our closest dealership. Now that they've been bought out so many times it's gotten atrocious. No more loyalty. Just high ADMs and no straight answers.

Just got the call for a GT4RS allocation for MSRP, but need to finance through Porsche and get a PPF.

Currently have a GT4, is it worth the jump?Someone who has made the leap from GT4 to RS, please PM me as I’m not sure I care for the PDK to make the jump and love manuals.

Centre locks for me is the biggest issue. Worse than PDK. Got over it so far.

I didn’t get a call for an allocation but I wonder the same exact thing. If I let go my manual gt4 for a gt4rs will I miss the manual?
And is it worth about 100k more than my gt4?

early prepayment penalty? If yes, then that’s about a $40,0000 adm.

I’m pretty sure prepayment penalties are illegal. If you make at least 3 payments, the dealer gets their finance bonus from bank.

I made the switch from a GT4 PDK that I felt was lacking in power and sound. It’s quick, but it doesn’t push you back in the seat fast. The sound probably required a bit of aftermarket help to be engaging. I enjoyed driving my 996 more, with a sport exhaust and usable gears for street driving.

I preferred the GT4 PDK to the manual due to the shorter gearing, and it was going to be a track car.

The 4RS is nearly perfect to me. It’s got grunt and the PDK is very engaging when combined with the intake noises. The Weissach interior is really unique. I don’t see myself ever selling it.

It’s not without flaws, but they are easily overlooked.

If you are near Philadelphia, I’m happy to meet up with you for a test ride.

Keep the GT4 and don’t get the 4RS if ALL of these conditions are met:

- You won’t track the car
- You much prefer manual
- You won’t drive the car close to its limits on the road
- The car would be driven a lot and you’re not concerned about preserving miles on the 4RS because it will eventually become a collectible

Watch the PCA GT4RS vs GT4RS Clubsport video. The 4RS is very close to a 4RS Club Sport. It's a big jump in price but it's got the best 4.0 liter NA motor on the market. The GT4 motor is not even close. I had two 3 pedal RS's and to be honest while they were awesome on a spirited Sunday drive they could be tiresome in traffic and city if you had to. I have really come to like the options with a PDK. The auto mode, paddles and faux sequential shifter are a blast and allows you to use them in different ways and in different situations. Just my 2 cents.

I made the jump from the GT4 to the GT4 RS and I 100% agree with the above, except the last point.

Collectibility is not a factor for me—I bought the car to fully enjoy, track, and mod to the fullest. I don’t count the miles or worry about keeping it stock for the next owner. It’s a personal choice, but to me, GT cars are tool cars that were bred for a purpose, not to be babied or for one to be too precious about. There are plenty of Ferraris for that. 😅

Appreciate the offer, unfortunately I’m on the west side of the country and need to make a decision first thing business day to secure the allocation.

I don’t track the car, but do enjoy a spirited drive into the mountains. Will I ever push the car nears its limit? No, I haven’t even pushed my current GT4 near its limits yet and with the RS. Doubt, I’ll ever get to that threshold.
