I hear you.........it's definitely not the cheapest I've had over the last few months. Some of the dealers I've talked to lately are even more unreasonable.

True and I can confirm this, I called a Cali dealer this week about an incoming stunning Gt4RS and he wanted 50k over. He also said he had a changeable allocation,May build for 50k over.

991.2 Touring (because I own one of course)

Well that's kind of hurtful. I view it as a privilege to live in America. People have and continue to risk their lives to come and live in our beautiful country. Free market economy brings both the good and the bad, let's not call America "greedy" when in all ways we support the better part of the free world. Dealerships will seize the opportunity to make money just as any other business striving to be profitable and viable. It's up to you if you choose to pay the ADM or not. I paid it and I don't regret it because I made the money to pay that ADM in this country that I am so blessed to live in. I could have stayed on multiple MSRP dealers lists with the failed promises that I was next in line or high up on the list for the next round of allocations but the call never materialized. I don't view it as them being less greedy because they don't charge an ADM, they play their own games to make sure their business is profitable. Personally I'd rather pay an ADM I can live with, get the car and enjoy it on our beautiful American roads and tracks.

id also be very interested to see how this would play out if Porsche was forced to buy these cars back due to an issue or lemon law. Would you get your ADM back or the actual msrp of the car?
Maybe greedy America was a bit harsh but it’s the only country you’re seeing this behaviour in. I’ll rephrase it - greedy American dealers.

What people choose to spend their money on is totally up to them. What I meant by greedy America is the fact that these steelerships charge $40,50,100k on top of the cost Porsche put on the car with an already outstanding profit margin for themselves and the dealers. I’d feel much better if this money went to Porsche for further research & development rather than a sales guy and the owners of the dealers getting richer. Other countries don’t have these silly ADM’s.

In theory you get something for that tax though, as a citizen. To think though, that dealers in other parts of the world don’t get their pound of flesh on GT, RS and Special models is a bit naive IMO. They get their money, it just isn’t so overt.

Advanced
So on average about triple of what we pay in the US (most states are between 5 and 7%), For a $250k car that is $35 to $40k more which is around the ADM for a 4RS
