I get it, believe me I do....I drew the line on a certain # on a 4.0RS and refused to budge. So I didn't get one.... And I regret it....

That means you drew the line in the wrong place (for you), not that a line can't or shouldn't be drawn.

My problem is that I fell in love with the car so it's not just a car, it's the car I dream about to the point of obsession. People that follow this thread might feel the same way. Porsche has its hooks into us deeply. I agree you got to draw the line somewhere but if you can arrive at an amount that you can comfortably live with...just do it.

I drew a line, wasn't about to pay 50k ADM which was the going rate for a long time. I called around and worked the SAs i know, finally landed one last month for a very reasonable rate. I had my pick of allocations in the 35-50k range (even PTS) and that's just not worth it to me. So to everyone looking, keep calling and hunting. Better deals are out there and prices for used ones are coming down.

Took my car out to lunch today. Put 280 miles on her, we are up to 1300 and climbing. On one fun stretch of road I bounced off of 9k in three successive up shifts. It was glorious 😜

Not once during the outing did I think about the modest ADM I paid to design and spec my car 🤗

Life is short, enjoy the ride 👍

Thank goodness you're driving that thing!

I took the Cayman R for a drive today. It reminded me why I want the 4RS. I want the mid-engine dynamics, but with better suspension, better handling, more power, better sound ... and PDK!

Still have a Cali store with a GT4RS allocation. 35k over MSRP total cost.

Default Changing yellow accents and seat inserts

I specced RED calipers & door pulls - Is there a way to change the illuminated YELLOW GT4 RS on door sills, 12 o’clock and shifter to RED?

also, do all bucket seat inserts come as light grey or can you get a darker grey or black color?

finally, I am doing Euro Delivery on the GT4 RS - can I still get the roll bar?

Get non option door sills if don't want yellow Or do the custom illuminated sills where you can pick the colors. 12 O'clock would have to be CXX if anything to get red. Or option leather and have no 12 oclock. I believe seat inserts would require CXX as well.

Seat inserts are black if selecting extended deviated stitching. Bespoke door sills allows option of the illumination colour.

thanks both. Can I get the font to be the same cursive? It seems to become block lettering when I try to write GT4 RS

Ah, interesting. I was under the assumption the GT4RS logo would be part of "Porsche Creation" options, but it doesn't appear to be. I suppose I'd have gone for the car silhouette if I were choosing that option, but it may have to be CXX if you red want model designation door sills to be part of the build.

Quick background and sorry if it offends anyone, but I'm telling the truth and time is suddenly a lot more precious to me.

Anyways, I am a very happy owner of a '22 BGTS 4.0 PDK. I bought the car with the intention of driving it to and from work since I was a pilot and didn't actually need to drive that often. I got the PDK because traffic on that route is awful, and I've sat in traffic with my sons manual Golf R and it was not fun. In any case fast forward to today, and I have tragically been diagnosed with rectal cancer. I have hopes of kicking the cancer, but in the meantime I've got a few "bucket list" items I'd like to take care of. First and foremost is trading in my '22 for a '24 BGTS 4.0 manual and I'm willing to pay if necessary. So . . .

Anyone got a lead on a '24 BGTS 4.0 allocation??

Thanks a bunch.

To Joe--That sucks...caught on time, there's a lot that can address it. Get multiple opinions from the BEST doctors you can identify (my wife is fighting S3C melanoma now).

To EVERYONE else...Let's all screenshot Joe's post and send it to ANY friends we might have in any Porsche dealers who might be able to help Joe. I will commit to sending it to Englewood and Monmouth.

Let's help Joe!
