I can’t wait for photos!! Mine seems to be stuck two weeks in production.

Just received word from my SA that my Spyder has been bumped back about 1 month.. was scheduled to be built next week, and has now been moved back to 10/01. Vehicle delivery at dealer had been 10/29, and now is 11/26, which doesn't allow time from the Port to the dealer, so in reality, it will likely be readjusted to early December... Very deflating after waiting almost a year for this car....

I'm sorry to hear of your delay and everybody's else's delays. It does suck. There's no denying that. I know because my car was delayed 4 times while on the assembly line. I also had 2 misses/delays with PAG with getting my PTS request approved. Then when my car arrived at port, there was a "quality hold" which after some digging, I was told was because there was too much bird poop on the car for the port to inspect and accept delivery of the car. There's good and bad to been had from PAG giving us a build schedule. It gives us something to look forward to but when things change and things get delayed, boy does it kill our spirit.

If I may offer some supporting words. Just know the wait will be worth it. You'll love the car. I can't imagine anybody waiting and getting all of these delays and then finally taking delivery and then saying that the car didn't live up to their expectations.

I'm at 4800 miles and will hit over 5000 miles this weekend going to a cars and coffee. I love the car so much, I did a full wash (foam and then touch wash) on Sunday even while I had a gout flair up on my big toe. Dang that hurt!

It's funny because going through the multiple delays and the long wait time from ordering to seeing movement, I think is what pushed me to creating the spreadsheets because I was basically living vicariously through all of the folks taking deliveries of their cars and I love reading their stories and all. Hang in there. It'll come soon enough.

yep. this prompted me to call and check. my build date pushed back from 12/17 to 1/14. Though interestingly the CXX has gone from a week after exit body shop to same day.

ah well.

Probably not my new SA, but by old one was a friend and local enthusiast. He was great about informing me of when special cars, deals and such would show up. It was awesome! I genuinely hope he comes out of "retirement" before my car comes back so I can get him some of the commission.
I'll send my SA a message tomorrow when my build is supposed to start and confirm if anything changed. This could be a long wait from February if my build gets pushed back into November...being in MN, I might just as well park the dang thing then.

Thanks for the heads up Adrift! I hope your timeline falls back into a more reasonable timeline for you and the others.

RIP

This morning I received a call from my dealership (Englewood Porsche NJ) that all the vehicles in the lot and shop received severe flood damage. Unfortunately my two month old GT4 was in their shop. Back to the drawing board for me….

Oh man, that is brutal. So sorry. I feel for all those in NY and NJ, not a good thing all around over there.
