Interesting. I wonder if this allocation has been in someone’s back pocket for a while. My build, which got assigned in late July, doesn’t deliver until Feb. Whether there are any *new* allocations is of great interest. The fact it was ADM and immediately available suggests it isn’t newly released.
So still no new builds released (that reported here). Hmmm.
not sure, didn’t ask. I have until Sept 6th to make changes to the build if I want. I really didn’t expect to hear they had 1 I could get. Was surprised when I heard that and figured it’s now or never most likely.
My car went in to production on August 20, but there has been no update since to the V codes. I wonder if it’s a data entry issue or it’s not coming out of production due to some other issue. In the past, this all ran like clockwork so it’s a bit strange. The dealership has no information.

hmm yea that is kind of odd. Most builds i've seen on this page including my own, go V260 to V300 in almost exactly 7 days. Hopefully it's just a data entry issue and not a chip shortage issue.

Congrats! Very similar to my build. Looks killer. I was a little worried about the silver wheels, which it seems most people don't opt for, but I think it's perfect with the Shark Blue.

Congrats to everyone on getting their cars delivered - they look spectacular and I am super excited for all!! My SA called last night to let me know that my MY22 Spyder has entered the PDI process at the Port of Baltimore...which is apparently the last step where a holdup can occur. Once that is finished, I should be 3-5 days out from delivery -- got my fingers crossed that I don't have a "port hold" and should have car in the next week or so.
Hello all! Long-time lurker since quite a long time ago, just told my SA today to book me a slot for a Cayman GTS 4.0. They told me to expect the car around 06/2022, but also told me that the factory currently quotes a 6 month delivery time, so I'm not sure if it's just them covering their asses in case there are delays.. In any case, this will be my first new Porsche, and in fact the first new car ever, so I can stand the wait. Drove a 987.2 Cayman S for five years (had to sell due to relocation), really looking forward to getting back to the flat-6 + manual-combo!
My spec is currently:
- Manual
- Shark blue
- Race-tex with extended leather, leather steering wheel, brushed aluminium trim, red seatbelts, 2-ways
- LED headlights
- Bose
- Carplay
... etc. Still debating the colour schemes (body/interior/wheels), going to check out how Aventurine Green looks in person next week. The GT4 above in Shark blue looks awesome, so might have to consider silver wheels as well!

I'm sorry to hear this TRZ, other than my details locking in mid July, my other V details are similar to yours. I'm in MN, so my estimated arrival date is late October. I did confirm with my SA yesterday I'm still on track for my Friday entry to the bodyshop, but that doesn't mean it can't change between now and then. Hopefully they get what they need and your actual date moves back up!

Hmm, I was hoping maybe mine would also arrive early, but my SA just told me that regardless of CARB cert, 22s are not allowed to be delivered/sold until 10/1. Please update if your car leaves port.

Oddly enough mine was just pushed back by 3-4 weeks as well. My SA has two builds for a Spyder going through yet the other one hasn't shifted. My guess is Porsche is now back from holidays and making adjustments based on parts supply. Can't imagine what other reason for the change. I'm still showing the Planned Dates at roughly where they were last week but its the Expected Dates that were pushed out.

. This confirms that 22's can now be delivered (at least in Canada), we should be getting ours in the next few days too, hopefully, lol.
