My car arrived at the dealer with 18 miles and my SA, the GM for the dealership in this case, put another 10 miles on it for me. He always drives the cars that are shipping out of state to ensure everything is as expected. He had his shop re-do the alignment before shipping it out at no cost as a result of his test drive. I joked with him that it was a car dealership form of prima nocta but I appreciated it given the outcome.

Dan, was your car on the SFL Conductor that docked in Jacksonville last weekend? If so, are you saying that it is already at the dealership? I ask because mine was on that ship as well, but has not arrived at dealership in Birmingham.

My SA notified me this morning that my car is on a transport truck, but had not left Houston yet. I just got unloaded from the SFL Conductor. I'm hoping it's a quick trip to Minneapolis so I can drop it off for ppf and have it before next weekend.

I'm guessing there are a few other deliveries to happen too.

You guys should check with your SA to see if there are any holds with the car like the TPMS. It seems that whether a car comes with one already installed from the factory or missing is somewhat random. It is also pretty random on how they choose to fix it if the TPMS is indeed missing. Some cars are getting shipped to the dealer to have the TPMS installed, while others are getting held back at port for the fix. My car arrived at Port Baltimore 10/4 and is destined for my dealer in Chicago. Another member from Chicago was on the same ship and his car was delivered 5 days later with TPMS. There is a TPMS hold on my car, and Porsche has informed my dealer that they are going hold the car at port for the fix. The new ETD is 10/29. Seems like this whole thing is a crapshoot and you guys should stay in communication with the dealer before getting any hopes up. Good luck!

I messaged my SA to see if there was any indications of TPMS missing. They did get 3 GT3s for the same guy, I was hoping I could help him out with the break-in on them so it was easier for their customer. I of course proceeded with the missing Ferrari GIF from Ferris Bueller...he joked and said he'd go to jail with me if that was the case haha #almostworthit.

I would probably make the same offer! LOL. That guy with the 3 GT3's is probably one of the 918 VIPS. They pretty much get whatever they want.

You're absolutely correct, he has 3 of those too. I'm told so that when he moves between his 3 different houses he has the same cars to enjoy...smart, but that's like FU money haha.

I paid for it today at Porsche Plano. It is still there waiting for clear side markers.

I couldn't wait for that! I picked up the car yesterday and then went over this afternoon for my SA to put on the clear side markers. They can be installed by hand in about 3 minutes with no tools required.
