After ordering a 992 Carrera T in 2022, and backing out early this year before my freeze date because the cost was getting a bit out of hand for me, I am now locked in (non-refundable deposit) on my Boxster GTS 4.0 and couldn't be more excited! It's due to be finished production on January 9th.

I almost chickened out and went with Arctic Grey or Shark Blue, but glad I did this in the end. I was open to either a Boxster or Cayman allocation and prefer the colour on a Cayman (I think the Cayman just looks better in general), and I think I had to get over the attention I might get for driving a "pink" convertible haha.
-Tire lottery - Michelin
-Logo (still old logo)
-And still got the CD player!
It was supposed to be completed in July but delayed to September which might explain how I have the CD player and old logo.

@Gregonater I was pretty dead set on Python Green but alas, they removed the color option. Ruby star was a close second for me, so I went with it. Reading through these forums, I started to regret my decision with individuals on these forums calling it the Mary Kay color, but I got the opportunity to see one in person recently, and man does it look great. I'm not someone that enjoys convertibles (I say this while owning a Miata), but I can at least say the boxsters are still very good looking cars. Either way, congrats again, here's hoping for a speedy delivery.

A friend of mine with a 718 got his PPF done at Alphawerks in Santa Clara (I would have used them too).

Did you get this before your actual car?
I wonder if people get it before and back out, then they get something free from Porsche? Lol I have received nothing. If I get anything, I hope it's just some free upgrade like the electric steering column adjustment or maybe throw in the leather on the backside for all the delays hahaha

@Monsignor-Juan Nice! I got mine sometime around the time my build froze and was pleasantly surprised. Nicely packaged and fun to put together. It was a cool “little” thing that made me smile.

@Y3H and @Gregonater , as an emotion check with your color decision, tell yourself that Porsche has 'canceled' Ruby Star. You'll know right away how pleased you are with your selection.
As a guy who passed on the 'true' Mary Kay color--a GT4 in Frozen Berry Metallic, I've still not forgiven myself and probably never will.
Congrats to both of you.
