He is waiting for official word. He is worried it might be the 4L engine . And I agree, this has an ominous feeling to it.

My CGTS has just arrived at the port of Houston from the SFL Conductor. ETA for arrival at the dealership is Thursday, but I have to wait for the dealer PPF. Incredibly excited!

That would go against everything Porsche has said about continuing the 4.0 motor in markets where it's allowed - even as the electric 718 comes out. I wouldn't worry about it too much. Probably/hopefully a glitch in their system. Doesn't make sense to have a 6 month delay out of nowhere.

Yeah I don't believe that it's "going away". Maybe a poor way of trying to say we are having a hard time sourcing the big billet of metal for the engine lol
