Got the notification today that manufacturing is complete on my BGTS 4.0; yesterday the expected completion date was 10/17. It definitely looks like Osnabrück is about four weeks ahead of the dates showing in TYD. Last 3 in the VIN is 235 if anyone is still keeping track of that.

Happy to report that I'm in line for my Cayman GTS allocation and thrilled to be joining the Porsche and Rennlist community! Nice! My last 3 is 344 and scheduled to be complete on 10/19. Maybe I'll get notified in 2 days haha. What's your build code? Do you have natural leather?

When I put my deposit down for the build spot that opened up to me, my dealership told me that natural leather was adding a month to the build time...at the time which was June/July. I'm wondering if that are getting it faster but still have the extra month built in. Better to deliver early than late!

After 4.5 months of multiple visits to this tread, many nights of anxiety, anticipation…sometimes excitement; it’s time to hop off this train.
It’s been a pleasure to see others get their cars over the months as I felt a weird “bond” of sorts with all stuck in the limbo of the production process…
All I can say is: hang in there; it’s worth it!
