Of course I have the CF full buckets, so I am into manual operation of virtually everything , ha.
If I were going with buckets and weight savings I might prefer it as well. But, I went with the 18 way seats and I like electric adjustment on the steering column on other cars because you can more finely adjust them (seems like I always want right in the middle of two stops when it's a manual). But, maybe the Boxster manual adjustment isn't limited to notches on either the up/down or in/out? The only Boxster I test drove (in 2020) had electric adjustment....

I tried to switch to the natural leather and the electric steering wheel adjustment went bye bye - at the end of the day, they couldn't make the switch and I wasn't that upset. A manual steering adjustment, on a car that both my wife and I will drive, seemed a bit mooch on a $115K car. Somewhat happy they could not switch the interior.

@BillLeeIII same here, went with the 18 ways, would've been nice to have the electric column to boot with it, I believe on these cars they are not limited to notches but a free range, and you just lock it wherever you want. It is the most first world problem to have, but honestly, I'm probably just going to set it once and never touch it again which would've made the electric column kinda counterintuitive for me, but oh well.

@pgap718 , I'm lost on your logo reference. Is there something you would like me to photograph / check for you?

The Porsche logo on the hood? Porsche updated the logo and just said it'll start being installed in "late" 2023 so it's not very accurate what they mean. I haven't seen one yet online that's installed.

After approximately 1 year of waiting, it’s finally here. Got what I believe is one of the last 718 Spyders in PTS (NATO Olive) for the states. Did Atlanta delivery experience which was fantastic, highly recommend. Car is exactly what I expected it to be and very happy to add it to the stable.

Has anyone found a way to fully decipher their tire information based on their build sheet? While waiting for my car to arrive I pulled the full build sheet from Vinanalytics and it shows my tires as
Front - 16U7X00FX2823
Rear - 16U0F0BAX2923

In my research I found this site https://wfirm.com/complete-list-of-t...t-plant-codes/ which shows the manufacturer and it looks like I got Michelins (yay). Now I am curious of someone else knows how to de-construct the code further.

Cheers-
@Miggytosh

I@pgap718 is referring to the Porsche crest on the hood https://newsroom.porsche.com/en/2023...con-32504.html
