I graduated yesterday - finally took delivery of my CGTS 4.0 and drove it 1100 miles home. Can say that it was a long, long wait after almost 2 years from order demand placement until now. It was absolutely worth it though!! Amazing machines - good luck everyone that is awaiting your special toys! (note: I do have the clear markers installed now - I was also happy to win the tire lottery lol)

@BlackCobra , you win an endurance medal for your wait. That's seriously long; and glad to read of your 1100 mile opening journey--they are amazing cars.
@Y3H , cool thought on a transport being available for load-up on October 2. I really hope my car can make that ship. I'll share an update with this thread by the night of 10/4 on what TYD updates for me.
@Bearrun21 TYD updated my dates to say it leave the German port on 29 September, but it has yet to leave. I imagine (more so, hope) it's still set to leave this upcoming week, but we'll see!
At last, my CGTS has left the German port (as of October 2); that was 18 days post delivery to the port. Sailing now--with a dealer arrival date of 10/24 projected.
My 2024 CGTS 40 finally arrived!! Now to get detailing….
Is the Porsche logo the new one or the soon to be old one? I'm guessing the hood and steering wheel are the two places that put it. Maybe center wheel cap too?!?
My GTS4.0 made it to the states but it sitting in SF right now waiting on a "software update". My SA doesn't know when it will be done, he said it could be days or weeks.
Is there any info on this recall/update? Seems odd that a software update could delay a car weeks.

Congratulations! Beautiful color and great story. Awesome you held out that long and had that road trip home. Enjoy!
My SRS now has a VIN (Osnabrück factory) and the build is scheduled for mid-november (used to be last week of october) with a late november/ early december Zuffenhausen factory delivery date.
Looking forward…
