Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...

Just heard from my sales person that our Houston bound 718 is on a vessel, but not sure which one. TYD is still saying it is at the German port, which is step 7. On a vessel is step 8. Someone mentioned that it may take 24 hours before TYD updates to the current status...not that I'm watching this closely, or anything. Some people are wondering when they will have access to some food and I'm wondering about my Porsche. There's a disconnect there, isn't there?
PS: By buying Porsches, we are helping put food on the tables of the people who sell them, make them, transport them to us and service them. That is no small thing.
God bless you,
TT

Apparently because I received the notice at 7:14a PT this morning but the Sunshine Ace is still moored. I don't know how long it takes to load one of these vessels so maybe TYD updates in batches, or all the Porsches are loaded and other makes are still loading. Maybe my car was prioritized because it's PECLA delivery and they need as much window flexibility as possible on the US side. Who knows.

That was a grand total of 3 days from Production start (5/23) to complete (5/26), which was 5 days ahead of the estimated completion time, and my delivery window has now moved up a week from early July to late June.
I guess they found some wheel center caps in the basement!

Welp, just hit step 5 today "Production Complete" after my pictures posted this morning.

My estimated completion time is 7 weeks after my production start date (earlier this week).
I wonder if there's a hold up somewhere. The most unique thing I have is custom carbon fibre sill plates with blue backlight. That's the only "custom" thing I can think of. Everything else seems like it should be straightforward unless there's a hold up on a different exclusive option.

So my gt4 arrived at German port on 4/27 and was projected to leave port to Baltimore on 6/19. Looked today to find it got shipped out on 5/23!!! A pleasant surprise to say the least!! Anybody else on the same ship?

Unfortunately the ship hasn't hit Baltimore yet. In my previous post, I meant it left the German port on 5/23 and it looks like it will arrive in Baltimore on 6/8. My apologies, I should have been more clear. Just too excited.
Congrats to you though!! It should be arriving soon. That is awesome!!
Your guess is probably as good, if not better, than mine. lol

Picked her up Thursday, I'm out! Good luck to all!
Drove the GT4 home on state routes and surface roads, 94 miles as it went in for PPF; 90% done and picked it up for the weekend late Friday afternoon.!
Thanks to all for the knowledge and encouragement!
Bought the car at MSRP from Bluegrass Motorsports, aka Porsche Louisville. Couldn't be much happier with the experience overall as a first time buyer from a Porsche dealer.
Again, good luck to those still waiting, I know your pain, but it's over!
