Official Waiting Room for 718 Spyder / GT4 / GTS Delivery...
So my GTS was at the port less than 12 hours and has already left, I am shocked. Very fast turn-around, if this is really accurate. Found the vessel number with number 9610391 with the 'inspect page' trick = SUPREME ACE

Picked up my Cayman at Porsche of Omaha at 4 pm, and just got home from getting some of those precious break in miles accumulated. Will try and get some pics tomorrow while at a Test and Tune Autocross course prior to the Solo Nationals ---- I will be running in another car, not practicing the break in procedure running through a maze of cones!

Somewhat graduating from the waiting room (will still be here until the car is delivered at the US)
So what did we have today? Amazing delivery experience with both track and off road time, it was really cool and the Macan is much more capable than I thought!
The factory tour was nice but a bit disappointing compared to the one we received at Zuffenhausen in 2019.
Then we received the Spyder - I was honestly overwhelmed and a bit stressed by the whole situation ("what if I wont like it", "what if it was a mistake", etc.) and I think the super nice dude who guided us most of the day noticed that.
We got delivery of the car around 5:45 PM, and after some photos and loading our luggage it was around 6:30, we thought we will drive south about an hour or two until we get tired.
Sadly, and I guess I am specially lucky, after a few hundred meters I noticed a knocking sound from the right rear tire, the kind that rock chips make when they get stuck there.
It was one of those single lane roads around the factory and I couldn't stop, and luckily didn't listen to my wife who said just give it a few minutes it will drop.
I stopped and noticed a huge screw
Didn't really know what to do as I already signed all the release documents of-course.
Decided to go back despite the fact it was 7 PM.
Lucky for us the super cool guy at the reception was still there 'cause they had a special event, he said he usually there until 5.
He was actually on his way out when he noticed us.
I told him what happened and he didn't really know what to do, and said that he is doing that since 2016 and that's the first time anything like that happened.
After about an hour of searching and calling he managed to get one of the managers there who said they will take the car and replace the tire.
Took another hour or so, but eventually everything was sorted out.
The reception guy was there with us and didn't leave until we got the car back.

^Congrats! Loving the beige stitching. Definitely a unique touch.
And I can officially say I’m outta here! Oct 8/2021 to Sep 1/2023. It’s about damn time. Straight to the PPF shop and I should have it fully dialed in next week!

It's starting to get real
I've been reading this thread since I put in my order almost two years ago. posted a couple of times, but really didn't have much to add, so kept mostly quiet. Now It's starting to get real;
Now, I'm entering the anxious waiting stage!
