maaan I have no clue! I’ve been trying to interpret tea leaves… I’ve been to a psychic palm reader (jk)… my SA told me it left exclusive since 8/11 (we’re all monitoring).
I also thought they were on holiday until 8/21.

I was considering a bright colored wheel with my Cayman GTS ( went with deviated Carrera wheels in Agate Gray metallic ) yet, I think it really sets off a Porsche. I plan on getting some Apex or BCForged wheels for the track in a bronze color but I decided for the street to be a bit more conservative. I think a GT needs to be more expressive and in your face , so congrats in your build. My guess, after following the TYD schedule and all the little discrepancies , I would bet your car was done before the break and the skeleton crew there just popped it in. A good example is my Cayman is 7 hours out of Houston, but TYD has it arriving there on the 20th and just a week ago the Dealer had it arriving in Houston on the 22nd. Today the arrival at Port changed 5.5 hours and MarineTraffic.com showed the ship at a crawl for awhile, so I am guessing with a temp around 100 in Houston they delayed the arrival with hopes the temp would be down during the unloading as it will get there close to sunset.
Sure , this is just a logical guess, but the long period for your delivery is partially based on little activity in Emden also during this break for vacation time in Germany imho. Good luck and the car looks wicked.
Well, my time here officially ended this afternoon. Unfortunately I only drove it about 30 feet into my trailer, to take it for PPF. Good luck and hope everyone’s wait is as short as possible! (Sorry for my horrible photo skills)
Fantastic Bluebarchetta, your delivery gives me an idea on when mine may show up since our cars were on the same ship ( Siem Cicero ) . The ship docked in Baltimore around a week ago , then again in Jacksonville , and last night she ended a her final port of sail from Emden , Houston , Texas. TYD still says she will dock on the 20th and in fact on their map my little Porsche is still floating out in the Caribbean. I am hoping my Cayman moves as fast as yours did once unloaded in Baltimore. Congrats , absolutely stunning Boxster and I love the retro style Porsche does with various colored tops, it really sets them apart from the typical black or occasional tan ones.

As someone who was set on chalk for for my GTS 4.0 for ~12 months, looked at hundreds of not thousands of photos of chalk, then changed my mind (lol), I can say that's a Chalk boxster. You can see a white Cayenne in the background and notice the difference. Congrats @BlueBarchetta !

My SA asked if I wanted them, he didn’t like the look with the yellow against the chalk. I definitely agreed with him. I figured on doing it myself, but they had a pair in stock, and it was $190 installed, so I said yes to that.

Thanks! It’s definitely Chalk. Comes across lighter in the sun, darker in the shade
