Production date got pulled in a week today! Curious how accurate timeline ends up being, currently TYD estimating "85 Days Until arrival at Porsche Center Expected date: 8/7/24" for the BGTS 4.0. Got delayed from 7/16 delivery to 8/22 at one point.
Which dealership are you with? I'm with Fremont Porsche and i got my BGTS allocation in March so i'm surprised that your manufacture date and delivery date is after mine. Mine was supposed to start production last week on the 7th and its telling me that delivery will be 7/23.

Palm Springs via a broker. I had a last minute CXX change that pushed the manufacturingdate back from May to June... noticed the headlight washer color wasn't specified until the day of the change freeze lol

Ah yeah that would do it. You planning on driving the car back up once you get it? Thats what i did with my GT4, i had PECLA delivery then drove it 7 hours in the rain on 101 back up north to the bay area lol

With a healthy dose of luck, PCH will be fixed by then to drive up along the coast! *fingers crossed*
Woohoo production has officially started! I always feel like this is the turning point where the car starts to feel really close since theres movement now and you arent just waiting for things to get going. 2 months to go! Cannot wait.

If you're doing the drive back, definitely look at driving along the coast to Ventura, take 33 North/East and then left on 166 back towards the coast. It is a fantastic bit of road, especially if done mid week. You can always cut across to the 101 near Cambria if PCH isn't open all the way.

When I picked my GT4 up, the road. was closed. I needed to 'visit' a friend living along the road. It was one lane only in 3 small sections and the rest was an open road.
On that whole road I probably crossed 10 cars all up, all heading the other way.
This is the scenery on both sides of the mountain.
It appears that the Siem Cicero left without my car (the app shows my car moving around the port and then apparently being denied entry ).
Does anyone know when the next boat arrives/departs Emden? I think TYD had my car on that boat since it was listed as May 15 departure. A little bummed.

The Lake Taupo left yesterday with Porsches on it. My SRS is on it. TYD updated this morning and I confirmed the boat with the F12 hack. There are more than just the PWL group ships that are used.
