welp that picture just made me feel good about picking white again. looks great in that shot.
Typical second guessing myself. Will white be too boring? Should I have stuck with shark blue, should I have gone guards red.
Let's be real. Have you ever seen an ugly Spyder??? They make every color look good. I am not a white or silver fan. But they are absolutely stunning in those colors. It doesn't really matter. they look good in just about any color!!! I would never think to order yellow. But damn it looks friggin crazy awesome in yellow. The Spyder is a pretty car.....GT4 ain't bad either!!

Ha! Glad to help. The car looks sharp in white!
I went round and round on color. We could talk for hours on my color selection journey. None of the standard colors move me. My 2016 Boxster GTS is Sapphire Blue Metallic. THAT moves me. THAT is a color. PTS wasn't available with my Spyder allocation, and I don't think that I'd pay for it if it was. Pastel Orange, Oslo Blue, I think I'd love one of those colors. Miami Blue - I would have gone for that but I just missed the window...no longer available as a standard color. Shark Blue...not yet available, but not for me anyways. Standard colors on the Spyder...I would have been happy with Pure White, Carrara White, Guards Red, GT Silver, Yellow, Python Green. And it all came down to: "hey <insert wife's name here>, I'd really like to order a Spyder." wife speaking: "i really like white."
The black and white contrast is sharp. I've shown 4 friends the car and 3 have said that they love it in white as their first comment. I went with black calipers as part of my anti-boring back up plan...thinking that i could plasti-dip or powder coat the wheels in orange or riviera blue to livin things up, or add some '98 911 GT1 motorsport graphics to annoy purists. The car looks great as is, and I don't think I'll change it for a while. I plan to have this car for the rest of my life, so who knows, it may change over time. But the car definitely looks sharp in white!

Been there, done that , Go see them in the flesh at a dealer in various light conditions. I flip flopped from chalk to white and then GT silver. Shark Blue was not an option for MY2021 otherwise that would’ve been in the mix too. Ended up with GT silver, partly because we already have a Carrera White Cayenne
My boat isn't due to arrive at my port for another 3 weeks, but watching it flail about in a holding pattern while waiting for a berth in Port Elizabeth is testing my patience!
Am I the farthest out delivery date on record so far? lol Anyone later than Feb 2 for a spyder? Maybe I’ll get the last one off the line, and they’ll throw in +50HP.
I'm 9 days out from picking up my Spyder after waiting close to 7 months. Even after begging to see pics/video/facetime of the car, the PEC experience guy happily denied me. I appreciate him not wanting to ruin the experience but when did Sexting ever hurt?

Painful indeed! It might have something to do with the recent riots and looting in South Africa, now thankfully over, that created a bit of a backlog in the port?
