My GT 4 is scheduled to load onto the Pleiades Leader tomorrow as shown on TYD in Emden. Expected delivery to my dealer in San Diego on December 10th. Mock-up of the car which is Shark Blue with Aurum wheels and lots of interior speed blue stitching (Shark blue stitching was not available when I specified the build unfortunately).
Shark blue with Aurum wheels should look fantastic.

No need to abandon hope, all ye who enter here.
For weeks and weeks and.... I've been painfully watching the car roll through the Track Your Dreams process with a scheduled delivery date of 3 Dec. It was odd because at one point after the vehicle arrived at Emden (early), my delivery was advanced a week, only to fall back to 3 Dec a week later. Oh well. Yesterday, the ship (Med Highway) was due to arrive in Baltimore today where the car would be in limbo for 30 days, then off to my dealer on 3 Dec.
Last night/this morning, the ship arrived in Baltimore (per both TYD and marinetraffic.com) and now suddenly, the car's scheduled to be delivered to the dealer in 7 DAYS!!! I assume that with the lack of trucks and drivers worldwide, PAG padded the timeline to keep people from having their dreams dashed. Bottom line: miracles do happen so don't despair with programmed delays and scheduled delivery dates.
Yesterday I noticed that the local Wells Fargo bank already had up Christmas decorations and I thought "well, that's odd. It's not even Thanksgiving yet", but I guess they had special insights because Christmas did, indeed, come early this year. Hope this same turn of events happens for all of you.

Hi All - brand new member and recent Porsche Enthusiast! I have spent the last number of years dreaming of owning a MB GT-R but after going on a Porsche club day ride in my buddy's 991.2 Chalk GTS and getting the opportunity to drive such a fantastic driver - I was/am hooked! Worse than crack -can't sleep, Porsche dreams at night, cant focus at work unless I get my daily Porsche configurator hit (sometimes require more than one hit a day) - the worst!
Anyway, after a ton of research, decided to take the plunge and just put a deposit for an allocation for a 718 Spyder here in Canada.
I may not be in the same boat as all of you dreaming for the day to arrive: 1) Winter is coming! 2) I need to save a $h!t ton of money!!!!
Anyway have a ton of questions - put a draft build on file to secure my spot - leaning GT silver, with black/silver stitching interior, can't decide on wheels yet but either silver or platinum. I will be searching through this forum for some good pics of platinum wheels - don't think the Porsche configurator does the platinum wheel colour justice!
Anyway total Nube and have a lot to learn! Cheers!

Took a look at my build today and it started yesterday, a day early. However, the delivery date moved out a week. Fourth change of delivery date. So I’m back to version #3. Arrive/depart Baltimore on 12/24 with arrive at dealer on 12/31. Couldn’t pick 2 worse dates to have a car in transit.
The funny part is I might take delivery of this car before my dealer sells the 18 GT3 I traded in May.

From what I am finding is it is an endless addiction. First it was the 2017 Macan S. Now I am waiting on my allocation for a '22 CGTS 4.0. I am at V70 with a commission number, 1st in line, but no V200 as of today. I am already starting to spec out the next car, a Panamera GTS for the wife. I am going to need a bigger garage. Maybe a car condo out at COTA? Hmmmm... It will appear empty so..... If you give a Moose a Muffin. LOL

After close to 5 years in waiting, I finally got my Spyder allocation yesterday. Deposit made, and the car has been ordered for January production, Feb / March delivery. I was so happy I almost cried. Did a pretty extensive build too... Metallic white, ceramic brakes, every single creature comfort, burmeister + all available leather anywhere they can stick it on + red roof.
My only complaint is that Porsche will not let you change the trim in the classic leather interior. I did get the illuminated door sill in carbon fiber which I love, but the rest silver aluminum trims around the door, glove box & shifter area are just plain ugly to me... Dealer is making some calls to see if they can swap out the aluminums with the carbon fiber (without resorting race-tex) leather interior. Has anyone done this before? The dealer is saying that they may be able to do this via Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. Does anyone have experience with this option on the interior trims only? If so, know what the costs are? If this is either too much, or not available, my plan B is to just order the carbon pieces and have the dealer install them. I would have to compare the cost deta before pulling the trigger, but I thought I'd ask so that I can make some mental prep on my own. Thanks!

Fractal,
I bought a Spyder that had this option selected to combine carbon interior trim with the classic leather interior in red.
It shows on the build sheet as CXX, and was agreed by Porsche. The cost was high...
Feel free to PM me to review if it helps.
