Thank you for posting your Vnumbers. I just got my Vin last week and word that I'm V300 and heading towards Port of Emden this week. As I suspected, Porsche still has 5-6 weeks from completion to arrival at my dealership...most I'm seeing are similar to yours, only 4 weeks or so provided the TPMS isn't holding anything up.

I'm out! After four weeks in production (V260), my SA called this morning to let me know my car is on its way to Emden. It's going to Jacksonville, but their system doesn't currently show which ship will carry it. I should have it in time for my birthday the first week of November... if it is not held up for TPMS or something else at port.
Woohoo.

So my '22 BGTS will be arriving port in the next couple days, but due to the TPM Module, they aren't allowed to schedule the PECLA delivery, and as of now the earliest date is 4th of November. That will no doubt continue to push out until my car gets the chips installed at port.
Alternatively, my SA can have the car removed from PECLA delivery and sent directly to the LA based dealer, and in that case I can have the car in early October.
What do you guys think? Is the PECLA delivery worth a 1+ month delay? PECLA sounds like it would've been a lot of fun, but i dunno if a 2 hour instruction lesson is worth a 5 week delay

If you have never been on track and won’t be on track, I’m sure it’s a fantastic time. You could also just schedule an experience day with them separate from taking delivery there.

I took delivery at PECLA and it was a blast. My party was a group of 7 and Charles was very accommodating. Never been on track and I don't plan to track my personal car so it was nice to get THEIR Spyder on the track and drive it and put the wear and tear on THEIR car. Whether it's worth a 5 week delay is something only you can answer but if I had to do it again, I would because it's not just simply picking up the car. It is an experience and it was nice. Charles took a bunch of pictures and you get lunch too. Of course, the different track course are included too but you also get some other little treats of taking delivery at PECLA. I created a thread on it. Here is the link if you're interested: https://rennlist.com/forums/718-gts-...l#post17515820
The other thing to consider is, taking delivery of a convertible in mid-November in northern california means it likely won't get much top-down use before Spring! At least early October will get me an additional month of top down backroad thrills.

I just got the same call! My 2022 CGTS has been sitting at the Port of Baltimore since it's arrival in the US on 8/12/21. But the dealer just called and said that the car has been "Released for transport". When I asked about TPMS sensors, he said he assumes the car is ready for sale when it reaches that stage. So fingers crossed! I may have to start driving the 30 minutes to the dealer each night just to see if it's been dropped off yet.

My 2022 CGTS has been moved from the Port of Houston to Porsche of North Houston where it will await the TPMS module. Expected delivery by 10/1. Very exciting to finally see and hear it run today.
