But, alas, my 4th week of May production PTS request went through!
JP
P.s. FINGERS CROSSED production is not held up and we'll get ours while there is still some great time left in our summer driving season!

PEC LA was fun, but I am already a track rat so it was a familiar experience. Luckily, I was assigned an instructor that kept the pace up in lead follow. Everyone was great and it was a wonderful "experience." 917 cafe is open and dining is on the patio track side. The burger was awesome.

I'm also anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 718 GTS, I pulled the trigger in mid February, I was told in the first week of March I'd have an allocation, but it took until April 1st and was pushed back as a 2022 MY. I'm in the US, and MN no less, so I'm less than thrilled about the long delay of arrival until October. Thankfully I have a Panamera GTS and my old Cayman S to hold me over. The goal is to sell the Panny early on and then just enjoy the Cayman until selling that in the late summer. I guess I'll have winter tires from the Panamera so I can at least get it home if it we get the usual Halloween snow.
I'll be waiting patiently with you all.
My build locks in July, but I'm hopeful that they are just pushing out the delivery date with the chip and other global delays. I would love to get it in September to enjoy some more

Looks great! You might consider the Black/Bordeaux leather interior for a welcome bit of contrast. I've seen it in person and it's stunning! It also gives you less dash reflections on the inside of the windshield, but more importantly, it gives you beautiful contrasting red stitching on the black door tops and black parts of the dashboard!

I officially have joined your ranks. Decided to make the move from a 991.1S to a Spyder. SA called yesterday to inform me that I have an allocated MY22 chassis and he forwarded the build sheet showing Vehicle Status of "V200 - Delivery Date Determined" along with the commission number. I was shocked to get the call as I didn't expect to get an allocation until next Spring at the earliest - hell, I just submitted my build request Monday morning! Right place, right time I guess? Anyways, SA says the build is currently slated to begin in June, and estimated delivery is end of September, barring any setbacks. Looks like it's going to be a LONG summer...

I sent a request for my link using MyPorsche account. When I didn't receive a response after a few days, I sent another request using the Porsche North America website. I subsequently two responses with conflicting answers.
The first response stated I needed "credentials" to input under MyPorsche account to receive my link. The individual responding clearly understood that I was purchasing a 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 because it was included in the body of my request and the body of the response. I replied with a request for more specifics on what is meant by "credentials." I specifically stated that I had a copy of the build sheet showing the Commission No. for my order. No follow-up response has been received.
The second response stated that the Track Your Dream app only includes the 911 and Taycan models and specifically does not include the 718 models. It didn't specify whether this situation applied just to the U.S. market or worldwide markets.
So I'm left with some confusion. Has anyone who has ordered a 718 model in the U.S. actually received a link to the Track Your Dream app?

^^^^ Your SA can add your car to My Porsche when a VIN is assigned, however this is usually done at delivery.
With respect to TYD, review the long thread in the 992 forum…the app is a giant POS and inaccurate.
Want the latest, ask your SA for updated PVSMS V codes when any change. My SA tracks all his customer vehicles daily and texts changes. Ask for a screenshot and updates when changed.
