I sent a request for my link using MyPorsche account. When I didn't receive a response after a few days, I sent another request using the Porsche North America website. I subsequently two responses with conflicting answers.
The first response stated I needed "credentials" to input under MyPorsche account to receive my link. The individual responding clearly understood that I was purchasing a 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 because it was included in the body of my request and the body of the response. I replied with a request for more specifics on what is meant by "credentials." I specifically stated that I had a copy of the build sheet showing the Commission No. for my order. No follow-up response has been received.
The second response stated that the Track Your Dream app only includes the 911 and Taycan models and specifically does not include the 718 models. It didn't specify whether this situation applied just to the U.S. market or worldwide markets.
So I'm left with some confusion. Has anyone who has ordered a 718 model in the U.S. actually received a link to the Track Your Dream app?

Hey all, introductory post as well as a waiting room entry
I wanted a lightweight convertible with a stick-shift and NA engine... glad that I fell in love with the 718 easily as there is basically no alternatives. There's of course used Porsches but the local market is pretty weak, I've been tracking sale ads and 95% are american imports with accident history which is not something I'm into unless it's cosmetic. Looks like people don't really want to let go of their good-condition cars.
So I went ahead and configured my dream 718 GTS and sent it out to a couple dealerships... one replied after few days with a silly canned response but I gave them a shot and ended up purchasing there. Second dealership replied like a month after, too bad
I waited for an allocation for less than a week which might irritate a bunch of you
It's going to be mid-June build, early-July delivery MY2021. I double checked after the engine replacement news and they confirmed that the dates are still exactly the same.

A pretty conservative build, the edgiest thing is the miami blue seat belts. I should've probably had the vents painted body color?

Hey all
Finally decided to pull this plug and went to a local dealer. Sat in a car in a show room.
Paperwork is done, now waiting for engine surgery
Cayman GTS 4.0, GT Silver, PDK, PASM, GTS interior / carbon.
... all we need is patience ... (Guns'n'Roses)

Hehe yeah, I want to remain relatively stealth too... as much as one can in Porsche drop-top.

Hello All,
Also a newbie to rennlist and anxiously waiting the arrival of my GT4. Build just locked on 4/30 and expected delivery by the end of July, barring any delays. Can't wait!

My GT4 is due to go to V260 tomorrow. I spoke with my SA yesterday and he says they are giving people open ended delivery timeframes for new orders now but he's very confident mine will remain on schedule, if parts availability was going to hit my build then we would have been told about it by now.
No photos on the production line of Australian cars apparently

I'm seeing days shaved off here and there and am now super hopefully for a mid-July delivery if not soon. I am not sure how often the boat leaves Emden but if it is every week or even every 2 weeks there's a chance it'll arrive here early.

Yea it takes the boat a bit longer to get to OZ (Provided the Suez canal isn't blocked!) so mine wont arrive until late August/early September but I couldn't be any more excited.
COVID uncertainty, Engine recalls, Silicon shortages and Suez canal blockages have all had me nervous at various stages. I've been dreaming of owning a car like this since I was 10 years old but it doesn't make the wait go any faster!

Nice!! My BGTS not V260 till June 18. It’s a full 3 weeks later than my original estimate at V200. Do you have LWBS or 18 ways? Mine has 18 ways which might be the reason due to the chip shortage.

Ordered Shark Blue , Silver wheels, RaceTex with extended leather, black calipers. Now the 6-9 month wait begins. Actual shark blue on new GT3 looks better than on this configator.
