Same question regarding your Cargraphic exhaust valve controller...did you install it?
EDITED: I don't see a SOUL ceramic coated option for the 718 Spyder...just the basic SS OAP option. Am I missing something??
I installed a Kline Innovation exhaust + OAP with a friend in his garage. We used Jack Stands and a jack. You can DM me on IG if you have any questions. All the exhaust are basically the same for install. I also did the Cargraphics Valve controller 2way as well in a GT4.

ps, I did add titanium heat wrap
oh looks like you are in Los Angeles too. We should meet up some time so we can compare a OAP only vs a Full system( I have the kline).

Same here. I wish I had a shop close by that did the work for 150. Also did myself.

I did a pretty detailed write-up about installing my Kline exhaust if you want a good sense of what is involved. Soul should be very similar.

Very cool walkthrough! I did mine alone. It's possible but taking the rear box out and the kline thing in are the toughest part. I also support it with something on a jack tray and hold it sort of in place with the 2 hangers and the nuts with a few hand turns. Then clear to find the right angle to align to the OAP. BUt definitely much easier with 2-3 ppl. You mention being careful with the ceramic rotors while removing/installing the wheels, a good tip is using a wheel hanger pin set / pilot pin. Costs $20 on Amazon. You screw them on the wheel hub after removing 2 lug nuts and slide the wheels on them far enough to clear the rotors.

Thanks very much for both of your responses above. Greatly appreciated! Short of a lift...I'm well equipped with about 50 years worth of tools and at least fairly mechanically inclined. Did you separate the OEM OAP's and OEM exhaust during removal...or is it possible to remove them still attached as one unit once the OEM OAP's are separated from the headers? My only concern is separating the OEM OAP and OEM exhaust because of the OEM OAP stud removal issue. That can sometimes get dicy. I'm aware of the "double nut" stud removal technique...BUT...

Thanks very much. Do you by any chance have the Amazon link for the wheel hanger pin set you purchased? An ounce of prevention...!

definitely not possible to remove as one. the OAP snakes around the axle. It is much easier to just remove the rear box first.

Thanks for the kind words on the write-up, we had a blast working on this as a family. I hope it helps someone else going down the DIY route.

I must have been lucky, when I did mine, all of the studs stayed in place, but the next 2 I did most of the studs came out.

Amazon, search on "Porsche wheel hanger tool" or from the dealer, where I got mine, IMHO 2 are better than one.

+1 easier and lighter when you remove the rear section first, then you can guide and twist the OAP as required for their removal.

I don't remember any issues between the muffler and the opf but I had 50% of the studs come out of the cat to opf connection. It freaked me out at first and slowed me down but in the end, it all went back together pretty easily. I hope I managed to secure the studs well enough but that is pretty easy to check on anytime the wheels are off.

Thank you Jeff Jones and Westcoast. Wishful thinking on my part! Again, I appreciate all your help. So...I'm wondering if maybe this isn't a great excuse to convince my wife we need to get a lift system installed in our garage. I mean how else could you possibly remove an exhaust system without a lift system. It just can't be done. That's my story and I'm sticking with it!
