Hopefully the darn (Steering-Wheel-Bolt) situation will soon be over with.
Porsche of Jackson did ship me Next-Day-Air the part and it just arrived.
I'll drop it (Steering-Wheel-Bolt) off in the morning and Nick the Shop Foreman might time-permitting install the newly painted Guards-Red shift paddles tomorrow.
If he does Matt Giorgio time permitting might take some pictures for me.
If all that takes place I'll post those pictures here for those interested in seeing what they look like.

I really hope the car's not a disappointment to you when you actually get to drive it, given all the time you've put into this process.

Archimedes,
Well my Good-Man I've been doing this sort of thing since the Mid 60's so I think all will be good.
The only real difference this time is I'm not the one having to deal with the outside Vendors/Shops.
Thank goodness for Matt Giorgio as he is handling everything for me and doing it with a smile.
This has ended up taking a lot of time but it's not like it's all that much of a surprise to me.
Things just seem to Never-Ever work-out the way we think or wish they would with this sort of thing.
Example: A (Steering-Wheel-Bolt) of all things who would have ever thought that was going to turn into a nightmare, not me.
I'm actually looking forward to 1-day seeing it totally completed and Cathy and I taking delivery.
Cathy has a plan for us to put the Break-in-Miles on it with Daily-Drives.
She only works 4-days a week until next year.
She took all the rest of her vacation days for every Friday.
So we will take the GT4 out on roads that are NOT the interstates to start putting those 2,000 miles for the recommended Porsche Break-in-Miles.
I'm looking forward to using the Sport Mode and seeing how the electronics handle the gear-shifts up & down.
This will be IMHO a True Sports-Car and that I'm Very-very much looking forward to.

I'll probably do another video after I drive this weekend. The 18 way's are insanely comfortable, and the suspension so incredibly smooth. I drove 1000 miles in 36 hours and my back never hurt!

2seats,
I'm pretty sure your talking about me.
See pictures below I don't have the GT4 buddy.
It's stored in the old Mini Cooper Dealership Showroom.
Look Really-really close ...............
Cathy, me and my SA Matt Giorgio inside the Mini Cooper Old dealership's showroom.
(It's now used by the Porsche Dealership for extra storage.
Right now the current wait is for the Newly painted in Guards-Red paddle-shifters to get reinstalled.
Then to the Wrap-Lab for (Custom Graphics, TruShine (PPF), Marlins (Ceramic Coating).
Transported to all those shops and then transported back to Porsche of Nashville for Cathy & I to take delivery.
smegman,
I would really like to see the video once you do it.
If you think about it would you share that Link to it for me, please.
As you have the 18-way seats so do I.
I've watched videos as well as comments on those by owners and never yet seen anyone say they didn't like them.
I'm thinking they will be perfect for my needs driving mine on the street and not tracking it.
Thanks for your continued reports,
Terry

Terry, I must say that I greatly admire your fervor, I’m almost envious of it.

Well my Good-Man it simply comes down to me knowing exactly what I want in the end product.
And my persistence to get what I want.
I'm one of those Die-Hard old guys that is willing to pay for what he wants but also wants what he's paying for.
Unfortunately in this day and time things are not able to be done and completed in a normal time frame.
2seats,
Stay-tuned I hope to have pictures of them in the somewhat near future, hopefully.
(Still on hold waiting for the Mock-Ups from The Wrap Lab)
You know me when it comes to oversharing with pictures even pictures of boxes.

I was going to create a thread to troll people who waited a couple of years for an allocation for a car that needed a new engine and tire pressure sensors before delivery. But I couldnt do better than this.
