I hope my inbound Yellow Spyder is not that color!
I am picking up my GT4 side scoops from the painter this week - had the GT4 filled in and painted Porsche 041 Gloss Black.
Bob,
I did also consider having the GT4 filled in but ...........
I gave it some more thought and this is what I came away with.
My final decision was to leave those Side-Air-Vents as they come from Porsche but to change them to the Porsche Gloss-Black and then they simply look like a Porsche option.
Tom,
Well the time is definitely getting closer, finally.
Terry

Latest word from my Trusted SA Matt Giorgio at Porsche of Nashville
Below is what I just received on Saturday from my SA Matt Giorgio at Porsche of Nashville.
Including the latest Screenshot.
Latest on June 19th 2021,
Hey Terry,
Great news, your GT4 is completed!
Next will be the transport to Port in Emden and then shipped to the states!
Once I have a vessel assignment I’ll send you the link to track it!
Have a great weekend!
Matt Giorgio
Well the time is passing and things are now more quickly happening.
I'm glad that I have a SA Matt G. that chooses to keep me up to date as anything important takes place.

Terry
I’m happy to see you are in the home stretch now. Bet the next few weeks will be flying by now that you know your car is out of the factory.
I see that your SA Matt Giorgio at Porsche of Nashville has taken such good care of you. He got me into my new GTS 4.0 and I can confirm that he also took great care of me. He is a pleasure to work with.
Looking forward to photos you take on delivery day.
(From the announcer) ...and Terry is rounding 3rd and making his way to home plate!
This last part is quite excruciating but the wait will be so worth it. Are you planning on doing ppf before you start putting the miles on or will you let the paint go naked? Looking forward to seeing your car.
Hey guys I wonder if I should have gone for the CBS (Carbon-Bucket-Seats) j/k

Bill,
Matt is an A-OK fellow for sure and I should know as I worked for New Car Dealerships for over 16-Years.
I have patience for a fact and the reason I do is I made myself as I aged to Calm my Butt down.
Now things are on the Fast-Track compared to all the months starting back in December 2020 when I placed the actual order.
Our buddy Matt G,

P-car-Vancouver,
Hopefully you will soon be on the Down-Hill-Side of this.
Good-Luck

Terry! It will be totally worth it!
dnimi123,
Well your right on the waiting as 9-months seems to me to be a longgggggggggg time.
But, it's going to be worth the wait I do think.
Especially if the 3-shops that will be adding the Final-Touches to it all do their thing and it turns out as expected.
Thankfully, Porsche of Nashville and Matt G. has worked with all 3-Shops so I'm not real concerned over those doing Professional work.
They are the Best of the Best here where I live.
Oh, your most certainly welcome to join in the wait buddy.
Well it might be August that I actually take delivery but ..............
It might end up being September as there are three (3) other 3rd party shops to do their thing after it actually reaches Porsche of Nashville.
According to how backed-up their work-loads are will determine when mine will get done.
Since Matt knows and has worked with all three (3) shops I'm pretty confident he will arrange the timing for mine to be worked on Way-way before it actually arrives 1st week approximately of August.

halfmonkey;
Well here it is already June 19th so the months are rolling by and August is not so far away it seems, finally.
Here is what will be done Before I ever even see the GT4 below ...............
I prefer Not to see any New Machine until it's all 100% completed.
When I do go to take delivery it will then be ready to go Home with Cathy (Wife) and me.
(1) Matt's parts Manager is ordering the Michelin PS4S tires to switch out from the Cup 2 that come on it.
Those will be installed Before it leaves Porsche of Nashville to the other 3rd party shops.
(Already sold the Cup 2 tires to a fellow (Randy) in Atlanta, Georgia)
Also, it will Not be driven, it will be picked-up and transported to and from the other shops.
(2) Matt ordered for me the Clear Side-Marker-Lamps from Europe and has those in his desk.
(3) Matt has already contacted the Wrap-Lab in Franklin, TN. where I live (Has new name now) for the Custom Graphics that will be installed at Porsche of Nashville.
(4) PPF see below:
(5) Car Pro Ceramic Coating below:
(6) Matt has received the Side-Air-Vents in primer that will go to the Paint-Shop to be painted in Porsche Gloss-Black and installed by Porsche of Nashville.
(7) I will drop-off the Custom Porsche floor Mats I ordered from Suncoast to Matt when the time gets closer to it arriving to them.
(8) Still totally UN-decided on having the GT4 raised on both ends 1/2" and to keep the Factory-Angle/Rake correct ???
Congratulations, Terry! I've been following your thread with interest. My car was also completed yesterday, so maybe they'll cross the pond on the same boat.
