Depends on what you want...Soul provides a deeper sound.

Just did some spirited driving above 5000 with the windows all the way down. Headers probably also add 15% more volume up top in the rev range as well. Very pronounced with windows down. Not so noticeable in the cabin of a CGTS with windows up. This is with valves open and sport button pressed. The full system is likely very loud in a spyder or boxster above 5000 rpm with the top down.

Any dyno results? I want to like this system, but investing in the full setup isn't going to happen if sound is the only benefit.

I really like how the car sounds before the valves open too. You get to hear so much more of the motor. Also neighbor friendly.
throw on some dyna mat sound proofing too - you wont regret

I put mine on top of the engine cover and behind the seats under the back wall carpet. Make sure to roll it out properly.... this makes a big difference.

If you delete the SS (and throw in some dynamat on the engine cover and metal under the carpet and behind the seats) you reduce the sound volume inside by 5 to 10% (which is quite noticeable) and get better mechanical and exhaust sounds. Then if you want to add the 200 headers this will bring back in 10 to 15% volume but at much higher quality. So deleting the SS leaves open the door to headers (at an only 5 to 10% loudness 'penalty') and even without headers gets you a better experience (I dont have the headers... yet!). IMO
Not entirely sure, but probably need to keep in mind drone difference between GT4 and Spyder with soft top. I assume GT4 is worse. I did the SS delete at the same time as installing Cargraphics controller (pain the *** by the way, but did it), so I'm not sure what difference it has made when driving top up with valves open. Hard for me to imagine much difference if any with top down. SS delete is easy so I figured why not since I was in the engine for the valve controller work. Finally having the Kline OAP and rear section installed by a shop next week. Can't wait!

Yeah maiden voyage sounded great. I found it a relatively easy DIY install. Only needed a second set of hands a few times. Maybe 15 minutes worth. Although there were as couple areas that were a little harder to get to for tightening bolts. But no biggie. Fitment is outstanding.

Finally had my Kline Inconel OAP and rear exhaust installed n my Spyder. Sound is amazing. Thanks to all you early adopters who posted your thoughts and experiences that convinced me to go with Kline. I’ve got almost 600 miles using the AP modified run in so I was able to experience some of the glorious sound. Can’t wait until I can hear it scream at 8K RPM!

Just picked up my car this morning after having the Kline Inconel OAP and muffler installed. Overall wait time was eight weeks for the parts plus another six weeks to get an installation appointment. Got one brief run through 1st/2nd gears to get up to 7500 rpms and that was amazing. Confirmed that I didn't make a mistake purchasing an exhaust system based on internet videos and feedback. Looking forward to future drives with the top down to fully appreciate it.

On another note, does anyone have the stats on the weight savings vs the stock muffler? When I got home and pulled the stock muffler out of the front seat, it seemed like at least 20+ pounds difference.

Gets better and better w use! Enjoy the Kline!

We almost always have inconel systems in stock that can ship out. Not that you need one but if any friends are in need after hearing your glorious sounds.

If you weigh the stock unit you can see the savings in weights

The Kline stainless steel 718 GT4 rear system weighs 13.5 Kg and the Inconel rear system: 7.5 Kg

Kline Manifolds with cats
Stainless steel: 4.2 Kg
Inconel 625: 2.8 Kg

Has anyone considering using the Kline OAP and rear system with a more efficient header design like a SOUL? Is this even possible?

Thanks!

Yes, that's the one part of the Kline system that is interchangeable with other Makes. I believe user Mannylon did it.

Hi Eric. DO you have the inconel headers in stock? That might make for a tempting pre xmas spontaneous purchase
