Its the sound. The Kline Inconel catback is simply amazing sound. Went thru a tunnel yesterday driving in friends stock spyder with my GT4 following about 50 feet behind and the the Kline in the GT4 just drowned out the stock exhaust and sounded like race car! No too loud, not too rumbly, not too low... but nice high pitched wail. Its soooo good! check out my instagram video at dnimi123

I agree the sound around 5500 rpm and above is simply amazing with the valves open. Completely addicting.
I don’t appreciate the same sound with stock valve function though… I think having valves open with a controller effects more than just the low RPM range.

yeah the true X pipe vs the stock H pattern really gives it that “GT” sound.

Kline Inconel and Cargraphic controller ordered today. Hopefully arriving about the same time that my Spyder arrives. I can’t wait.

Hi all,
Just installed the inconel catback on my Spyder tonight and I echo the comments about the sound - MASSIVE improvement over stock and way better than the Akra I had on my GT4. I highly recommend this exhaust! bc

Might need a 100 miles or so, but did you notice any power gains or better throttle response?

Sound is subjective but I cannot believe one could get a better all around sound from anything other than Soul's Street Headers (with high-flow cats) and their resonated Race Exhaust - simply amazing with the top down and almost enough to get a partial woody going. I have listened to quite a few Kline clips and while it sounds great it is a little high pitched for my ears, etc.

It definitely is subjective. From the clips I have heard, that IS the very reason I want the Kline over any others. To my ears, that higher pitch is music. Bassy systems are a dime a dozen, leave the bass for the stereo, but it is rare to get a nice higher pitched system, unless you are starting with a flat crank V8.
I went with Corsa on all my Corvette's and SS 1LE for the same reason, they tend to be higher pitched than the others for those platforms.
But like you say, it's all subjective.

Wonder what it’ll sound like with Soul sport cat headers and Kline.
I got a ride in a members 718 GT4 with the Soul headers with 200 cell cats and race pipes. It was really amazing. The car didnt scream as much as explode! It took the the 4.0L flat six sound into V8 territory for sure. Like a power boat on the land. If Shelby GT500 sound is what you are after then sure go with Soul and you will be blown away. For me the musical deliciousness of the high pitched wail at 7000rpm of the kline really fits the car and doesnt wake the dead when you want to cruise around of fly under the radar. Kline is really Jekyll nd Hyde... Soul is all Hyde!

That is what is great about these cars - we have choices! There are quite a few combinations of components to chose from to tailor the sound to our likening. I had to make a couple of changes before I found exactly what I wanted...doing the same to a new Harley now; however, it is a little easier on that! But the headers give the car the deep sound at low rpms, which is what I was after, so I suspect one would get the same regardless of what comes after it.
