Anyone have a dB reader with Kline Exhaust & valve controller installed? Curious to know the following:
1) Startup dB with Valve controller open
2) dB reading under 4k RPM
3) dB reading above 4k RPM
I'm sure this is with every exhaust, but I noticed it gets WAY louder at 4K RPM even though I have the valve controller properly installed (tested and you can hear difference). Trying to figure out if I can mod it to get the above 4K rpm sound all the time when I want to. I do not have the headers btw only OAP, rear exhaust & soul valve controller. Is that because of the Headers?

And I absolutely love it this way , it’s loud on open , and significantly quiet on close position , more deep sound .

I have headers and valve control ( I modified control a little ) so my control is always open or always close , not factory program when it opens after 4K rpm

closed - runs stock program (closed valves until 4K rpm and then open )
open - runs open valve all the time
The way I install it it open always or closed always up to red line

Did you have the car without headers (only the Kline oap/exhaust and valve control)? Did the headers make it significantly louder or just change the character of the sound or both?
I am thinking about adding headers as well but it’s already pretty loud for me with the windows down after about 4-5000 rpm.

Kline system requires their OAP and x pipe exhaust since the silenced and open valve pathways are reversed compared to OEM. Headers are optional.
