Have any of you noticed any power gains with the Kiline rear section? With it being 2.5" ID from header back, I'd assume there would be some power to be felt. I know when I had the Soul race exhaust with 2.5" OAP + Rear section, I definitely felt some gains.

I did notice a subjective modest increase when I first put it on. Now that I’ve had it for a few thosand miles I don’t really remember the difference anymore. I have the 200 cel headers incoming and am hoping for more modest gains. Wasn’t able to find any dyno information like there are for the other brands unfortunately.
You’ll definitely notice better throttle response with the headers.

I really like it and plan on getting it when I get my Kline system, but it does question why they would make it a cigarette lighter plug in since you DO have to have the smokers package option to get the 12V plug in.
I’d be shocked if there were no gains. I think there are two simple factors and not really rocket science as there are decades of empirical data: pipe diameter and ecu adaptation to new flow.
There are decades of empirical data that show this, from little four cylinder Honda’s in the 90’s to old/modern muscle cars. If you think of it from a pure displacement POV, 2.0 litter NA 4 cylinder motors max flow before they start to lose torque is around 2.375” - 2.5”. And I think that’s the magic number for our 4.0 motors for each bank.
I’ve seen first hand folks who went with smaller tubing show no gains on the GT4 but when going to 2.5”, there was always some gains of at least 15whp. And naturally, folks with no gains do not like to post it; whereas, folks who did show gain with there hard earn dollars are most likely to let others know.
Lets face it, unless you have a FI motor, exhaust for our cars is really for sound, especially when you factor in $/hp.
