Hi All, as promised here is some vdo on the Inconel version.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CPeeluSJ...dium=copy_link
All I can say is WOW. The loudness under 4500 rpm is almost identical to stock at high 60s to low 70s decibels. The resonance (aka drone) is the same level however the tone of it is cleaner, clearer and crisper so it is less boomy. Above 5000 rpm is amazing sound quality and now louder than stock but in a very pleasant, clear way. Above 7000 rom to RL is just sublime and on a tunnel section with windows down can melt your face off (and this is with the stock headers). So bottom line is super pleased and big shout out to Eric at Supreme Power for the honest advice and great price/service.

Not yet.... Inside at below 4500 is very very similar is terms of decibels but the quality is much better so the really annoying resonance and dull muffled sound is replaced with something cleaner and crisper. Above is just a total race car sound that the GT4 should have had from the start. Very satisfying. I will try to get some interior sound the next few days....

^^^ sooo goood! Day 2 and the loudness of the Kline OAP/Rear is really not that bad. WOT yeah it wails, but very reasonable. It almost makes me want to do the headers... almost. But ill hold off on those for awhile. Overall, this Kline Inconel system gives a great sound and I think will get better as I put on some miles into the system. Already getting more burbles and pops... Also, took wife for drive today and even she said it sounds more exotic, better pitch/tone, not too loud... until we got above 6,000rpm
. This is amazing and must mean the exhaust is pretty good if it gets her seal of approval!

So, it gets quite a bit louder in the cabin above 6K? Is it loud enough to mask the intake sounds under load?
I would imagine that increases the cabin total loudness to around 100 db?

Not anywhere close to 100db in the cabin. Overall at idle thru normal driving and cruising dbs are very similar to stock (65 to 78). Under WOT and above 6000rpm decibels again are similar to stock and never above 90db. Ill check again but it is a bit louder (not crazy louder than stock) but much more livable than stock because the tone, clarity and sound is so much better. Its like an asthmatic fat man wheezing/caughing vs. a mezzo soprano or a tenor at the opera... one may be louder but you dont notice because its so beautiful....
That is the type of sound I like... crisp, clear, and high pitched. I am not a fan of the boomy, muffed sounds. I will keep this system in mind for the future.
It's the reason I got the Corsa Exhaust on my current car.

Well, thanks to you Eric! If there is anyone local to So Cal (Im in Santa Monica) who would like to hear inside and out Im happy to meet up and let them hear this IRL, feel free to PM me. But I can say 100% that this is a fantastic exhaust upgrade. My installer gushed over the quality of the system as well as fitment and he has seen a lot of systems. And the sound is just exactly what the GT4 needs - clean, clear and crisp and just a howling beautiful scream up top - giving up nothing in terms of comfort and livability of the car. The boys at Kline Innovations know what they are doing as does Supreme Power in helping me source this mod!

I’d like to chime in with my review of the Kline rear exhaust in stainless steel, which I installed on my 718 Spyder recently. Like many on this forum, I found the stock exhaust somewhat lackluster. Top up, I found the stock sound to be good, though not great. It wasn’t the purest or most musical note, but it had some crescendo and sufficient volume to create excitement beyond 6k RPMs However, with the top down, I was very underwhelmed with the sonic experience of the car. The exhaust sound was too easily drowned out by wind noise and was flat and uninspiring.
After deciding to purchase an exhaust, I researched the various options. I did not like the idea of having an inert GPF with no other function other than unselectively muting the sound, and I also wanted to change the pitch/character of the sound by the rear muffler. Unfortunately, it was quite hard to discern the sound differences between the various options based on the available videos, so among the reputable companies with offerings, I decided to go with the most reasonably priced option—the Kline rear section exhaust in stainless steel. I ordered through Sam@ByDesign, who had the best pricing and was very helpful and responsive. The exhaust took ~12 weeks to arrive and I had it installed promptly. I never thought I would gush about the beauty of some metal pipes, but it certainly had the look of a premium product. Great fitment too.
Driving with the top up, I was happy with the change. The volume was increased a little, and more importantly, the tone was much crisper and tuneful. Some mild resonance (though no drone) from 2.2-2.8k was more prominent, as has been described commonly. The exhaust was not transformative but it was substantially better. At this point, I was satisfied but could not help but wonder if I should have gone with the Inconel or a more aggressive setup for a potentially more exotic sound . Or maybe I should have just only done over-axel pipes only, as most of the change was improvement in the clarity of the sound, which I attributed to removing the GPFs. However, when I drove with the top down, the sound was scintillating—loud enough to not be drowned out by wind noise and with a much clearer and musical tone. It brings a smile to your face whenever you wring it out. It’s not a subtle exhaust—it will turn heads and though pretty tame at low rpms, can still be heard blocks away.
So to conclude, even in stainless steel, this is a great exhaust. I’ve not heard the other exhaust options so I can’t speak to which sounds best, but this is one of the few that are reasonably priced. For Spyder/Boxster owners especially, I would highly recommend it.
