if youre nervous about it i dont recommend the valve controller and headers. There is no question outside the car its another level of loud. You can prob hear it 1/2 mile away with moderate rpm

Cargraphic 2 way valve controller is GREAT! Love it! I can close or open the valves so thats gonna stay put. Just have to see how loud with the Kline OAP and rear thats all. Im guessing thats going to be good enough for me! Thanks for all of the info.

From videos I think I like the Kline sound the best. However, I have jcr race pipe non valved on a 991, and I don't want that level of volume for my spyder. I may try it and let the valves work normally. My concern with that is little to no volume when the valves are closed and then getting hit with a hammer when the valves open.

Dundon street headers with factory center on a GT3 is the volume level I want.IThe thing that has me apprehensive about the dundon street headers on the spyder is the lack of the back to back crossover. There aren't many videos/reviews of the dundon system on the 982.

Soul has a valve controller as well, which I bought today along with their headers/cats and OPF delete pipes. If one is going to keep the PSE the valve controller is a must!

I have not installed mine yet. Plan on installing later in the spring. My car is still hibernating at my lake house

I have the soul valve controller paired with it so I can force valves open or force valves closed via remote or programming to the garage keys. There's two diff ways to wire the soul controller:
1) valves open all the time
2) or valves open/closed when I want via remote or programming. (I don't want to be that neighbor in case I start my car up at 1am LOL)

Shouldn't make a difference I believe either result is the same

I don't think it can be as loud as the 991.2 GT3 startup with full akra system. That's stupid loud and will literally blow out your ear drums 100% of the time if you're even near it.

I was considering either Akra OAP+Slip on or Kline package, but after seeing this thread, I'm leaning towards Kline SS (End + OAP). Keep the videos coming!

Some new vids out on Akra exhaust on a Spyder... Sounds OK but more like the OEM exhaust just louder. Too deep a sound without a high pitched scream at revs. Have Kline OAP/Rear coming in May. Very excited!
