I drove a 991.1 GT3 RS last year. It had a Graham Rahal exhaust. It sounded fabulous. Not just the exhaust. Everything, including what sounded like the motor or transmission munching nails at idle. I would've bought that car on the spot, just because of the sounds, if it had a manual transmission. That said, I think the '64 Ferrari GTO in Archimedes' video sounded even better. But isn't this like trying to decide whether chocolate or vanilla ice cream tastes best?

Not without a muffler...

And Porsche has never produced any car that sounds as epic as that 250. Ever.

So far my high water mark remains the Soul setup with OPF delete pipe and race exhaust. Would be interested in your further input on why you went Cargraphic.
I meant opf delete. The cargraphic race x pipe also has a muffler and merge pipe as. Planning to do headers down the road.

Hoping to be able to provide same quality video about that same time of year for the GT4 if all goes well on the development.

That sounds great, for a GT3.

The Carrera GT is about as good as a Porsche production car exhaust note ever got. Still can’t match that Ferrari though IMO. IMO.

I think 250 and CGT kinda apples and oranges exhaust notes. Both tops but I'm not sure 250 is even my fav Ferrari note; they have a LOT of great ones.

OEM GT my fav Porsche note for sure. I'm not a big fan of CGT straight pipes.

This sounds very good IMO.
If it's indeed just catback with stock headers and stock GPF's in place - this would be amazing.
But i've got a feeling that it's a full system...

I really miss that sound, but I love exhaust drama, esp from the RSR.
This pre-DFI 987.1 wail is what I first notice missing when I try any newer Boxster. Part of what makes it hard to give up the 987.1 S. Recently made it even more epic with Miltek mufflers.

I think most systems will at least be cat-back, so GPF pipes will be replaced. Headers with no cats or high flow performance cats may be an option.
