Yes! I’ve forever wanted a reason to wrap some exhaust parts with this stuff. It just looks cool.

Agree. Porsche's flat-4 turbo will "never" sound good, regardless what mods you throw at them. It's probably down to the "flat" architecture. I can't believe I'm even considering a flat four turbo, as Plan B.

that’s essentially what a stock muffler sounds like ,no OPF filters - more volume...of the oem muffler.

Our OPF deletes will be the lightest and most likely sound the most crisp due to the material and design. They'll also not overheat surrounding components.

As for the sound quality in combination with the OEM rear silencer or any rear silencer design which doesn't 100% merge ALL gasses prior to the tips, you will still hear a buzzy 2x 3cyl sound. Some like it, some don't.

I have an M5C and when it’s off it seems like a huge difference to me - can’t even hear anything. Either way, it’s def lame and really is a bad piece of tech. Porsche’s sound symposer is great, active sound is too artificial sounding.

I agree that BMW has no idea what it’s doing with steering or really suspension. Crazy how Porsche has electric steering that is nearly as good as their hydraulic (ie way better than BMWs hydraulic and most others) yet BMW has electric steering that has less feel than my Fanatec Sim.

Yes, that’s what I was referring to. I’m hoping that the combination of your silenced muffler AND OPF delete pipes (both in Titanium) will give us the perfect combination of sound & weight loss - any performance gains will be icing on the cake. I’m holding my breath to hear the vids you promised us!

Agreed, but I think the steering issue is beyond just a lack of feel. It's a strange, non-linearity that I've honestly never felt in any car I've ever driven. It's as if either the steering ratio has steps in it or there's something very unique/odd about the geometry of the front suspension. They definitely reduced/removed understeer from the car, but at the cost of any thing remotely resembling natural steering. It actually feels kinda like playing an older video racing game, with on/off steering. Otherwise, I love the car and intend to keep it long term as a DD.

So... we have so far the following players...

JCR, SOUL, Schmid, Cargraphic, Kline, Fabspeed, Akrapovic, BCFabrication, Supersprint, Brooke... Am I missing someone?

Super excited to see all these manufacturers working on the car. There will be something for everyone!

I watched this guy who has cleverly branded himself as a in the know Porsche guy. Haven't seen enough of his videos, nor do I plan to. This video was a complete waste of time.
He shows seconds of a Sportec gizmo on completely different (turbo charged GT2RS) overriding the DME's control of the exhaust flaps.
Doesn't explain any details whatsoever, then goes off on his merry way driving his shiny new GT4, & blah blah blah...

Thanks for solving my insomnia. Based on what I heard in another thread, luckily a Soul exhaust can wake me back up.
