...your answer was misleading then as you quoted someone who was directly referring to what was in the 718 cars and in a 718 GT4/Spyder sub forum.

Our price, as ever, is according to the materials and fabrication time. I should have the pricing nailed down this week and I’ll be happy to share on here.

The heat shielding is also titanium, welded not clamped as per OEM and way more effective. It’s really important to have this.

I see the complexity and engineering that goes into the rear silencer section of these exhausts, but I am surprised that even the SS over axel OPF delete pipes have been showing up at over $1000 a side, that seems excessive given their relatively simple design?

Thanks JC, I absolutely agree about the need for the heat shield and accept that titanium is more expensive to work with.

I have been continuing to look and have found a less expensive set from Italy ~ $1000 Euro ($1100 US) just for reference, but no details on material or heat shields...

I had one on my Golf R and it actually sounded good, like an amplification of the intake noise. Wasn't overdone and much better sound than what comes out of the tail pipe of a typical four cylinder turbo, though I have to say that the Golf R exhaust sounds way better than the 718 4 cylinder. The 718S may be an awesome car and motor, but it sounds god awful outside the car, no getting around it.
