On the suspension I would probably go for the 10mm drop vs 20mm just because it's more practical for daily use and for some reason Porsche doesn't offer the front axle lift on the mid-engine cars. Would probably also delete the Alcantara wheel in favor of the Leather one but that's also a personal preference. After that the only thing that could make it more perfect in my eyes would be the option to use "T" style shorter gearing but we all know that's never going to happen.

Looks like -20mm should not be as big of a problem as with the GT4/Spyder. There seems to be more clearance in front.

How much is the difference in vertical front splitter clearance between a 20 mm drop optioned GTS 4.0 Cayman/Boxster, and the 718 GT4/Spyder?

I've been checking the U.S. web site every day since the announcement, nothing yet.

I seem to remember reading that, as well. Does that seem strange for the USA launch to be several months later? Rather unusual, no?

My dealer thinks deliveries will begin in the 4th quarter.

Gotcha. I had no interest in that car, so I didn't follow it. Thanks for the 411.

But dealers already have lists and are accepting deposits.

Default Will GTS 4.0 offer PTS

the $64 question, will the GTS 4.0 allow PTS like the standard 718 lineup currently does?

wife wants a green Porsche

although the new green is a step forward, not the green she's looking for

I'm hoping PTS is an option as well. Currently on the configurator, only the Boxter and Boxster S are showing PTS option

Never know, the PTS window always seems to be small. Then your allocation needs to be schedule for production in the window. PTS also means lots of waiting. My GT3 took 9 months from the time of PTS order accepted and delivery.
