The sound of the 2.5 definitely has more character. I also hate the positioning of the exhaust tips in the 4.0 cars.

I dunno, I owned 3 981 cars and I'm liking the sound of the new 4.0. I think it sounds a lot less fake and you actually get to hear the engine instead of a lot of raspy pops and gurgles. The videos I've heard of the new Spyder sound great to me.

It's seems official now that the Spyder, the GT4 and the GTS 4.0 will get the PDK by the end of 2020 at least in Europe...

I have some thoughts on the car but not going to break the embargo on driving impressions (ze Germans are very sensitive about it)
I will say that whatever you hear in terms of sound in some videos isn't the whole story.
