I was faced with a similar decision…did not want WP…but went AG with Indigo wheels, Blue interior and am already planing with my SA to add carbon pieces later (everything but wing and hood)…may cost more than the WP but gives me what I want for less than a custom order…

I agree with this statement having driven a 4RS almost 7000 miles on mountain roads over a 3 month period. 4RS is fantastic and amazing in so many ways. It sounds and feels so great that it encourages you on to put it to its fullest use at high rpm range, but it is frustrating because speed limits need to be obeyed. So a race track is the best place where it belongs. I hate to admit this but I learned this by owning and loving this car. I still enjoyed the mountain roads immensly and was capable of doing familar very tight twisty roads with much greater confidence than I could do in my Cayman R.

every time I park my GT4 RS I realize how lucky I am for not being thrown in Jail and having my license taken away.
No other car in my collection does this. Which is what makes it different. Embrace the challenge of revving to 9k and hearing that intake noise.

Yup, this. My other garage spot is a 981 GT4 for the past 6 months and I have to force myself to grab the keys to the GT4 instead of just driving the 4RS for every possible situation. The 4RS just stirs your soul with the 9k GT3 engine and the intake noise. Plus all the other differences that make it an "RS is an RS" you truly understand and feel once you drive it back to back with a "normal" GT product.
