I love this!

Now all you need to do is address the *** pain from the LWBs, contortions getting in and out of them, the need for harnesses, why there are barf bags in a car, and right arm padding for the repeated punches to slow down 😝

I thought this might be the case. That is why I have no plans for making the exhaust louder since the intake will already be so loud.

Default Me Checking Every Option With My SA

This was me at Porsche recently checking every option. All I could think about was this scene from Risky Business:

Most, that do a lot of track time, have helmets linked to noise cancelling comms systems. Bell makes good versions of these and their better helmets have built in mics and headsets - you just plug your helmet into the system which is usually mounted on the roll bar. I also add ear plugs. Its not a big deal unless you use it on track and in that environment your're well above 100db for significant periods of time - which is hearing damage country.

If its being used as a daily, the majority of the time you'll be sitting between 1500rpm and 3000rpm and the engine noise/induction noise is a non-issue. The bigger issue on longer drives is tire "roar" particularly from worn tires - its far worse than exhaust drone.

Looks like Manthey is testing a kit for the GT4RS; starts at 7:36.

Yep, WP is purely visual package to extract more money… because individualisation and customisation… it also unlocks PTS and Mag Wheels, which again is more money for Porsche.

I’d prioritise this MR kit, however I wonder what the wheel pre-req is for the aero discs is? Hopefully they offer their own option and don’t mandate the Porsche Mag wheels…. Not easy to see from the video.

Look at the equivalent GT3 MR kit for info and pricing. Won't be too far off from that.

The MR wheels for the 992 GT3 actually use very lightweight forged Aluminum wheels this time (they used Mags with 991). I think you may need Mag or MR wheels to match to those aero discs (you did with 991), but not sure...

For reference:

For reference it’s just under $50k.

I don't care much for the fancy aero bits...show us what they did with the suspension!
BTW...you may need the Mag wheels (or MR wheels) for those rear discs...so WP may also be needed or buy them aftermarket.
From that video/pic, besides the rear discs I don't see anything different from a regular GT4RS with WP.

I think the MR editions always use KW dampers (4-way adjustable on 992 GT3 not yet shown on link below) with specific tuning for the Nordschleife.

Well driven. Looked like 7:31 BTG

The TC light was flashing like crazy (GT3 doesn’t do this). Down into foxhole was a good example…
