The rear diffuser sits lower than the front lip...and the front lip is only what, 1,2 maybe 3 inches more than the one on the GT4?
I find the rear more of a problem than the front but still if you scrape the front a lot due where you live/drive then the FAL is a good option.

I'm similarly up in the air regarding the nose lift. Seems like it's a common point of failure (or at least, was) in the past on GT3s, and the fact that it's not any lower than the Spyder/GT4 which people have been driving without a lift makes me wonder if I should skip it.

I think the new hydraulic version of the lift (replaced the pneumatic version with the 991.2 RS) has been pretty reliable. Not saying you need it, but appears not to break very often...

Thanks for the video. Kline is going to get my money again if I score a GT4RS to merge the banks. The GT3 exhaust sounds so much better. Might be dominated by the intake noise but it will free up some power too without the OPF.

I have it optioned as insurance. 30,000kms/18,614 miles on the GT4 without a scrape but I had much experience with another low ride car. Would have optioned it on the GT4 if available. I have had a few we better turn around there is no way we are getting in there moments though.

That's good to know. I wonder if the GT4RS splitter is also cheap to replace like the GT4?

The splitter for the 981 GT4 has been going up in price over the last 2 years or so.
Shipping cost is high too, because of the oversized nature.
Now up to $380 at Suncoast Parts.
Was $100 cheaper.

The U.S. and Euro cars are identical in their exhausts according to AP.

The front AP kit from the 992 will probably bolt, they do need to test it on a 4RS. Rear one we still need the details if this was a carry over from GT4 or from 992 GT3.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure they will do a F+R kit once Porsche start delivering cars in the US...and with a 394 mm front rotor and their caliper you are almost at PCCB weight while being able to fit 19" wheels.
Another option would be if PFC develops their 380 kit for the 4RS.
yeah, but were the AP kit shaves weight is with their caliper while PCCB does it with lighter rotors, were weight savings is most significant. Switching to 19" wheels might save you 2-3 pounds per corner (wheel + tyre combo) vs OEM setup. We'll see. But i'm bummed i cant get my car with PCCB.

It's still unsprung weight and the rotor is right in the middle not like a wheel.
APs rotor may not be as light as PCCBs but it's lighter than OEM Iron.
The wheel is the one you need the lightest. A set of 19" forgelines with Pirelli DHs saves 7-8 lbs per corner compared to the GT4 982 wheels.
Going with a set of Lightspeed or Augment Mag wheels in 19" would be the ticket coupled with the AP kit.
BTW...the AP setup will brake far better than the PCCBs...I will trade 1-3 lbs per corner for having bette rbraking.
