Someone can correct me if they have better information.
No ADM here but I have a 5+ year relationship with my dealer.

Double warts = no bueno plus the red doesn't go well with the yellow calipers but nice looking car otherwise. I wonder what ADM this AutoNation stealer got for the car.

It’s mostly due the shortest gearing of all Porsches made. At 3000rpm you only travel at 110kph.

Btw, I got 23,75mpg (9,9L/100km) cruising home on the run-in over 1400kms

When I spoke to Andreas Preuninger about my GT4 and my upcoming GT4RS, he mentioned the shorter gearing several times, even with the highest RPM towers reached in second gear is still lower in the GT4RS..

I can't believe I've waited over 7 years from the orginal GT4 to this.. Agreed, better late than never.

Same here! Remember a group of the track rats at the dealer taking delivery of the 981 GT4s and asking about an RS version.
That's the moment the now infamous list got created.
They could have done a 981 RS by adding the X51 power package and a few other bits, instead they made us wait 7 years but received a much better option.
As mentioned....better late than never!

Takk skal du ha! Helt fantastisk bil! Fullstendig blåst av banen av den. Fins ikke mer morsom bil der ute uansett merke.

Same here, picked up a 981 GT4 in November of 2015. I was not crazy about the package and sold it back to the dealership for a 991.2 GT3 Touring. Absolutely love the Touring, I am keeping her.

My GT4RS arrives in March 2023 eight years later with a proper engine

Touring only exists because of the original GT4. In 20 years the 981 GT4 will be a very special piece. It was also a very rewarding car to drive fast as it forced you to drive it like a momentum car. Tourings are all the rage at the moment but they keep making them. No more 981 GT4's.

Drive a slow car fast...
