CXX / Exclusive declined my request for alternate deviated stitching and seat inserts.. a little unfortunate they post this as at least right now not possible to order

 

They're going to let you CCX the stitching. They wouldn't let me.

Why do you think this is my config?

 

Since the 3D Printed option is only for the driver side, the passenger side would still be Artic grey or Blue, so I'm guessing this car also has some CXX option for black seat inserts?

Also, has anyone ever tried the 3D Printed seats? I see Soft, Medium and Hard as options, I wonder which one would be the best option or "closest" to the standard bucket seats?

 

Probably not a good option for resale, or every new owner has to get a new driver’s seat

 

Not true. When purchased, you get the original inserts and a bag to store them in.

 

Could you elaborate please? As far as I can tell you pick between Hard, Medium and Soft, but is there anything more to it? I know the race seats are molded for the driver but I don't know if these are custom made for each individual person?
