Disappointing the exact colour is not shown well on the configurator, although PTS colours are.

seems like you and I are struggling with the same thing. I thought I was set on a dark green PTS color (jet green, Racing green, or BRG), but the more I think about it, the less I’m sure. Seems like RS cars tend to look better in brighter colors, especially with the WP/carbon accents.

the price hike also makes me question if I should just get shark blue and call it a day since I like it.

Exactly! the price hike is making me question it... plus I do actually like the arctic grey and gentian blue... should I spend an extra $10k? and if so, none of the colors stand out for me. doesnt mean I dont like the PTS colors... its just hard because there isnt a one color that makes me say, "THAT ONE!"

​​​​​​mine is black with gulf orange. Just changed from pastel orange to Gulf.

Any word on whether that Spyder RS is auto only? Did the photographer hear it shift gears?

Unfortunately, I do not know any information concerning the technical specs of the car - I only saw the photos. However, as of now, there are many automotive news outlets writing about the 718 Spyder RS and speculating on whether it will have a manual gearbox etc, so I would recommend to check them out for more info.

I think it’s a pre-production testing mule, so the final version will be more refined and more aesthetically pleasing.

Magazines speculate just like YouTube videos just like forums.. they don't have info, they just try to charge for their speculation while here it's free.
